Bruchbandagen, die an sich bereits bei ihrer Herstellung weitgehend den anatomischen und praktischen Verhältnissen Rechnung tragen, können, falls die erforderlich sein sollte, durch entsprechendes Nachbiegen der am Ende des Federbügels befestigten Pelotte, nachgepasst werden. Für Sonderfälle hat man durch Schlitzführungen, Klemmverschlüsse und Gelenke eine weitgehende Einstellung und Verbesserung der Anpassungsfähigkeit und Verwendungsmöglichkeit der Bruchbandagen geschaffen. Die Bruchbandage hat die durch Wattierung abgepolsterte Beckenfeder a, an welche der Leibgurt b anschliesst. Die Beckenfeder besteht, wie dies aus Abb. 2 und 3 zu ersehen ist, aus einem nur in einer Ebene gekrümmten Federbügel. An dem vorderen freien Ende der Beckenfeder a ist der aus einem Stab bestehende Pelottenträger c angelenkt. Die gegeneinander liegenden Flächen der Gelenkteile d, e greifen, zur Sicherung der Einstellage, mit Ruhen und Rasten f ineinander. Der Gelenkzapfen g ist als Verschraubung bzw. Klemmglied ausgeführt und an seinem äusseren freien Ende als Knopfglied h ausgebildet.
