Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein luft- und wasserdichter Deckmantel für Schutzmassen, wie solche besonders zur Isolierung von Dampfrohren, Kesseln oder dgl. aber auch bei Rohrleitungen an Kältemaschinen Verwendung finden. Bisher wurde als Deckmantel für derartige Isolierungen Blech, Pappe, Sackleinwand oder dgl. benutzt. Eine derartige Armierung war indessen weder wasserdicht noch luftdicht und konnte besonders auch bei Endstücken den Eintritt von Tropfwasser, oder bei Freileitungen von Regenwasser, in die Isolierschicht nicht verhindern.The subject of the invention is an airtight and watertight cover jacket for protective materials, such as those used in particular for the insulation of steam pipes, boilers or the like, but also for pipelines on refrigerating machines.
