Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Aufbereitung von Kohle oder sonstigen Mineralien auf Naßsetzmaschinen und geht wie das Patent ... (Patentanmeldung p 2328) von der Erkenntnis aus, daß die Setzarbeit auch nach einem statischen Aufbereitungsprozess (Schichtungsprozess) geführt werden kann. Das Verfahren des Hauptpatentes ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen dem Aufstrom und dem Rückstrom der über dem Setzsieb befindlichen Setzflüssigkeit eine Pause eingeschaltet ist, in der das angehobene Setzgut absinken und sich dabei schichten kann und die Rückbewegung der Setzflüssigkeit erst beginnt, wenn das in der Flüssigkeit angehobene und schwebende Setzgut sich im wesentlichen geschichtet hat. Ein solcher Schichtungsprozess kann nur vor sich gehen, wenn dabei die gegenseitige Berührung der Körnchen gewahrt bleibt. Nur in dieser Phase bilden die Körnchen ein System, das mit einer grobkörnigen Schwerflüssigkeit verglichen werden kann, in der die leichten Körnchen den Beschwerungsstoff der Trübe bilden und die schweren Körnchen das Sinkgut sind. Diese Phase wird bei der üblichen Betriebsweise u.a. zwischen der Aufwärts- und der Abwärtsbewegung des Wassers über dem Setzsieb durchschritten. Ihre bewusste Verlängerung durch Einschaltung einer Pause zwischen diesen beiden Bewegungsvorrichtungen ist Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes.The invention relates to a method for processing coal or other minerals on wet setting machines and, like the patent ... Weitere Untersuchungen haben nun ergeben, daß die für den Schichtungsprozess wichtige Auflockerungs-Phase, in der das Setzbett eben nur so weit aufgelockert wird, daß die gegenseitige Berührung der Körnchen gewahrt bleibt, auch durch einen langsamen Aufwärtshub erreicht werden kann. Das Setzhubdiagramm einer so betriebenen Setzmaschine stellt also eine flach ansteigende Kurve dar, die nach Erreichen des höchsten Punktes mehr oder weniger steil wieder abfällt.
