Die Bürste besteht aus einem starren, scheibenförmigen im Grundriß runden, ovalen oder eckigen Spamikörper 1 mit Stiel 2 und einem Bürstenkörper 3, der mit den einseitigen Borsten 4 ein Stück bildet und aus Kautschuk oder einem anderen elastischen Material hergestellt ist. Der Bürstenkörper 3 weist auf der den Borsten abgekehrten Seite eine umlaufende Wulst 5 auf, die unter Spannung in eine Ringnut 6 des Spannkörpers ι faßt. Die Verbindung des Borstenkörpers 3 mit dem Spannkörper 1 kann aber auch auf andere Weise erfolgen, z. B. dadurch, daß der Spannkörper 1 eine einfache Scheibe ist, über deren Umfang die Ringwulst 5 greift. Dabei kann sich die Wulstkante entsprechend Fig. 3 in eine obere stufenförmige umlaufende Ausnehmung i„ des Spannkörpers 1 einlegen, so daß die Oberfläche des Spannkörpers unmittelbar mit der Oberseite der Wulst abschließt. Dadurch ist ein Verschieben des Bürstenkörpers zum Spannkörper völlig ausgeschlossen. Der Spannkörper 1, welcher aus beliebigem starrem Material, z. 13. Kunststoff, Metall, Holz od. dgl., hergestellt sein kann und mit dem Stiel 2 fest verbunden ist, ist auf der dem Bürstenkörper 3 zugekehrten Seite gewölbt. Dadurch ist es möglich, den Bürstenkörper mit den Borsten gemäß der Erfindung in denkbar einfächer Weise als Einheit herzustellen, indem der Bürstenkörper eine ebene Platte mit einer umlaufenden oberen Wulst bildet (Fig. 2), in deren Unterfläche sich die Borsten aus Kautschuk od. dgl. parallel zueinander in senkrechter Riehtung erstrecken. Wird dieser Bürstenkörper auf den Spannkörper gezogen, so paßt sich der Bürstenkörper der Unterwölbung des Spannkörpers an, wodurch sich die Borsten entsprechend Fig. ι spreizen und die Bürstenfläche entsprechend vergrößert wird.
