Description
Duisburg, den 1. Januar 1950 Verfahren zur Herstellung von Dauergießformen Duisburg, January 1, 1950 Process for the production of permanent casting molds
The method should make it possible to pour casting molds made of sand, barrel and clay several times. In the previously known process the molds were destroyed after casting.
The technical task is to create permanent casting molds made of sand by appropriately designing the molds, as described below. To make Wasaθ and clay.
The models are gently molded into sand, mass or clay, as is known in the art. Instead of the pouring and riser funnels, truncated cone-shaped ivjodell pieces are used, in the cavities of which are then used for the sprues and risers, hereinafter referred to as pouring funnels and dough molds. The pouring funnels and riser molds are made either from core material, from cast iron, steel or a refractory barrel. As shown in Fig. 4, the pouring funnel and riser molds consist of two parts, the sioL. Assemble lengthways, and in which the pouring and riser channels are included. As shown in Fig. 1-5, the pouring funnels and riser shapes can taper downwards and upwards and can accordingly be pulled out of the I-shape upwards and downwards. They may have paragraphs 4 through which they, and in some cases also the casts, are carried. This is shown in Fig. 3. Casts can remain in the lower case when the upper case is lifted off. The sprue b and riser molds c taper towards the top. (Fig. L) They stay on the lower box when the upper box is lifted off. Uach the lifting of the casting a is pulled out from the lower box. Casts can be pulled out of the lower case with the upper case. The pouring funnel shape b tapers towards the top, (Fig. 2), however, if the riser shapes c are not enough to carry the casting a, it must be attached to the upper case. The riser shape c can also taper downwards. "" (Fig. 2). The casting a is lifted off with the upper case and supported from below, the riser form c is pulled out by means of esks which engage in eyelets which are located on the surface of the riser form c according to ΌΟβηγΒ, υβ'dem box; en r ner Upper case lifted from the cast.
(Abb. 3)If risers have to be placed directly on the casts, the sprue shape b tapers upwards again, the riser shape c downwards. (Fig. 3). The riser shape is almost pointed at the bottom and has heels to be worn. The pouring funnels and riser molds protrude slightly over the edge of the box. If the cast a is to remain in the lower palpation, pull out the batter form as shown in Fig. 2 using the hook above, knock off the riser and lift off the upper case. Then you pull the cast a from the lower case. (Fig. 3)
Mass risers are to be placed directly on the cast, and if the cast is to be pulled out of the pot, then the arrangement is as follows the sprue and riser shapes as in the last case. (Fig. 3). The upper case is lifted off with the cast. The AbJ "uß is supported from below, let the riser form as in Fig. 2 pulled out by means of a hook, the riser knocked off and the Upper costs lifted from the cast.
Hie Formen sind getrocknet nl)3ugief-en.If the castings are removed from three molds, the pouring funnels can be used for the next C-socket. Repeat until the surfaces of the mold are not completely smooth or the molds are damaged. The preferred molding compound is fat ter molding sand, which has the properties of Bottropper molding sand, to use, as well as ordinary clay. Ton-Bandmi & efag Uni cement mixes can be used if, for example, organic substances have been added. Beam: äc & s el for sufficient ■ Porosity is taken care of. The molds are dried and engraved.
The process can be used in iron, steel and metal foundries.
