Description
Cap connection for longwall mining in underground mining The invention relates to rigidly articulated canopy connections for longwall mining, which allow the caps to be connected to one another in a cantilevered manner, to support the hanging wall in the area of the excavation joint without a punch. The invention seeks to improve such known caps which are engaged on their Connection ends with partially overlapping holes for one or more pre-pledging wedges exhibit. By driving the wedge or wedges into the holes, the preexisting Angle the cap onto the hanging wall and press it on so that it supports the hanging wall freely supports without being supported by a stamp itself.
According to the invention, the holes at one end of the cap have the Shape of a rectangle, the greater length of which lies in the direction of the cap axis, while the hole in the other end of the cap is a rectangle whose height is greater than the height of the first-mentioned rectangle, and a subsequent one, to the cap axis symmetrical triangle is formed, whose symmetrical triangle sides contact surfaces for the pre-pledging wedge (s).
For cap connections with intersecting holes for the receptacle of the pre-pledging wedge has already been proposed in the fork-shaped end of the cap a recess in the form of a cross hole offset by q.5 ° and on the tongue-shaped one Cap end to attach an angular incision, against the surfaces of the Wedge can be driven. In such caps there is the disadvantage that the Wedge only one point of contact on its respective one Contact surface on Has tongue end, which has an adverse effect on power transmission. In the Arrangement according to the invention, on the other hand, the wedge lies flat on its contact surface so that local high surface pressures are avoided. By the arrangement of the two cross holes, the known caps are also weakened, as this the already highly stressed area of the cap is still reduced. In addition, that the compressive stresses of such a cap through the wedge, which the forces transmits, are fed to this very heavily used zone. By the arrangement a rectangular wedge hole, the longitudinal direction according to the invention in the longitudinal axis the cap, these disadvantages are avoided.
But the cap according to the invention also has the opposite in terms of handling The main advantages of the known caps: For the installation of a cap that is to be pre-pounded you usually hang one end of the cap on a bolt of the already installed one Cap on and then swings the other end of the cap around this bolt so far up that the pivot pin and the wedge can be inserted into the holes. Both known caps are special pins and on the end of the cap for this purpose special hooks are provided at the other end of the cap. When the cap according to the invention comes one without these additional aids, since one has to swing open the pre-pledged Cap can use the wedge. It also makes the installation of the caps essential relieved. This is particularly important when installing the caps in a planing strut, where the miner must install across the conveyor. In the inventive Cap, the Berginann can carry out the installation in such a way that he first the brings both ends of the caps so far in agreement that he brings the wedge with his Can insert tip. Because the wedge hole in one cap is much larger than the Is wedge, the cap to be pre-built can initially have a very large angle to the built-in cap take in. The miner can then continue to lift the canopy with his arm outstretched and then push the wedge with the other hand. The cap then always remains hang in their assumed angular position. If the position of the cap is not sufficient, in order to insert the pivoting timber into the holes, the miner can take a look for another position from which he can better lift the canopy onto the hanging wall. If the bolt holes of the engaged cap ends roughly overlap, the miner can insert the pivot bolt in peace and then the wedge knock down.
Such a procedure is not possible with the known caps. the The cap hung on the pegs must be removed by the miner - often in low seams very difficult sitting position over a conveyor - so high in one swing be brought that both the pivot pin and the wedge are used can. The installation of the known cap can therefore often only be done by two people make, while the cap according to the invention are always installed by a man can.
Finally, a disadvantage of the known cap is that the wedge can slip off its contact surface at the tongue end of the cap when the Bending of the caps becomes too large. This is the case with caps according to the invention the wedge contact surfaces do not form the boundaries of a closed wedge hole possible.
The drawing in which Fig. I is a rare view and Fig. 2 represents a plan view, shows schematically an embodiment according to the invention.
In the drawing, i denotes the built-in cap End of a Verbin.dungsgabe12 is attached. The cap 3 to be pledged has a tongue-shaped connecting end d. which engages in the fork 2. The two Caps i and 2 are articulated to one another by a pivot pin 5.
In the fork 2 of the cap i there are holes 6 for receiving an appropriately trapezoidal shaped pre-pledging wedge 9. The holes 6 have a rectangular shape stretched in the horizontal axis of the cap. In the end of the tongue q. the Cap 3 is a wedge hole 7, which is also a rectangle-like shape owns. The wedge hole 7 has a greater extent perpendicular to the cap axis than the wedge holes 6. The wedge hole 7 ends in a point, the two to the cap axis has acute angled bearing surfaces ä. The wedge holes in the fork e and the tongue 4. overlap. The triangular tip of the hole 7 points appropriately towards the pivot pin 5. But it can also be directed in the opposite direction; it results With a shorter fork, there is a longer lever arm that is used when swiveling up the one to be plucked Cap takes effect.
As can be seen from the drawing, the Wedge 9 in holes 6 and 7 of the wedge against one of the two triangular surfaces. Instead of one wedge, several wedges can be used, which are inserted into the holes 6 and 7 are driven,
