Description
It is already a DC voltage or DC amplifier has been proposed for measurement purposes, which shows neither a change in gain nor in the zero point over time. The DC voltage to be amplified or the voltage drop caused by the direct current to be amplified is produced at a resistor by means of a contact inverter converted into alternating voltage, the alternating voltage amplified and phase-dependent rectified, while one of the output of the amplifier derived very high negative feedback (about i: iooo) directly acts on the input voltage or the input current upstream of the inverter. While the inverter guarantees zero point security here due to the negative feedback, a change in the gain over time as a result switched off by changes in the tube properties. So if the input voltage fails or wrong Polarity a self-excitation of the amplifier as a result incorrect polarity of the compensation voltage is avoided, it was further proposed that to provide a so-called phase-sensitive rectifier as a rectifier, d. H. a rectifier controlled at the same frequency as the Inverter in the input and which supplies a DC voltage, its size and direction depends on the amount and the phase of the AC voltage to be rectified. Ever after the polarity of the input voltage, the direction of the output voltage changes DC voltage, which is used for compensation, so that no self-excitation more can occur. When the output line from the AC amplifier is covered is to be, the output tube of the amplifier must be used with anode direct current be charged. This requires a correspondingly large network connection device for production the necessary DC power. If, on the other hand, the end tubes to the phase sensitive Rectification can be used, as has also already been suggested, the final power can be taken from the existing AC network, since in In this case, an alternating voltage of the same frequency is necessary as the anode voltage with which the inverter is controlled in the input. This can lead to the Operation of the alternating current amplifier is necessary for an essential lower power can be performed, since the AC amplifier then only has to used for pure voltage amplification and not for power amplification needs to become.
A phase-sensitive rectifier delivers due to small asymmetries always a residual DC voltage, which in the case of a non-self-compensating amplifier gives cause for measurement errors, so that a special Must provide zero setting button. If you use a self-compensating amplifier, so this residual error is reduced in proportion to the size of the compensation and so that the zero point security is guaranteed. So it results from the use of self-compensating Amplifier the possibility of using phase-sensitive tube rectifiers, which draw their power from the alternating current network and are not constantly kept symmetrical without reducing the zero point security.
The invention is concerned with a particular embodiment of a phase sensitive grid-controlled rectifier with electron tubes, the anode side from the the same AC network is fed that also controls the inverter. According to the invention, the grid-controlled rectifier consists of a push-pull rectifier, through two rectifier tubes fed on the anode side from a common alternating current network is formed whose negatively biased grid by the AC amplifier are controlled and in each of the anode circles there is a working resistance to which Clamps a DC voltage of opposite polarity is generated as soon as the controlling AC grid voltage rotates its phase by 180 °.
The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to Figs. According to Fig. I, the two electron tubes 3.1 and 35 grid-side in phase controlled by the transformer 36, which the output AC voltage of the amplifier q. transmits. By the DC voltage 37, 38, the grid negatively biased. The transformer 39 supplies the two tubes 34 and 35 from the alternating current network 22, 23 with antiphase anode alternating voltage. Any of these Both tubes always rectify only one half-wave of the mains alternating current. Depending on the polarity of the input voltage, the tube 34 or the tube 35 rectifies so that at the output 6, 7 the DC voltage changes polarity and the consumer 8 is fed. This property of the _ push-pull rectifier made up of two tubes affects the use of only a single from the AC network rectifier tube fed on the anode side, in which the polarity of the rectified Voltage is fixed once and for all, inasmuch as it is an advantage, as with the push-pull rectifier the polarity of the input voltage does not matter while with a single Rectifier tube at the rectifier output only then produces a DC voltage, if the polarity of the applied measuring voltage corresponds to the polarity of the returned DC voltage is opposite.
Fig. 2 shows a similar circuit with greater efficiency. Of the Transformer 4.o supplies the tubes with antiphase anode alternating voltage. the Grids are controlled in phase via the transformer 36, as shown in FIG. Both But tubes now work on the common working resistance resulting from the Parallel connection of the resistor 41 with the. connected to terminals 6, 7 Load resistance 8 exists.
Since in Fig. I and 2, the grids of the tubes 34 and 35 are controlled in phase the transformer 36 can also be achieved by the usual capacitor-resistor coupling be replaced.
