Measuring device for determining the economic efficiency of hydropower plants It is known that the economic efficiency of a hydropower plant can be determined by the quotient of the electrical output and the hydraulic power output. In the literature, the product of the water mengo (Q) and the head (H) is generally used as a measure of the raw hydro power output. Thorough comparative measurements have confirmed that a perfect spontaneous water quantity measurement can be obtained from the pressure difference between. two connections in the inlet spiral of the turbine is available. The invention makes use of this by making a continuous measurement of the quotient is possible. -This enables the management to distribute the load on the various turbines in such a way that the economic efficiency factor is optimal. The immediate and spontaneous reading of the economic efficiency factor, which is possible at any moment, enables the operating personnel to immediately recognize the effects of any influence on the system and to carry out the operation correctly. Otherwise, the economic factor, as has actually happened so far, can only be determined through tests and time-consuming intermediate calculations, whereby it is definitely questionable whether the optimum value is actually achieved in each case. Of course, this depends very much on the skill of the operating personnel, while the new device automatically allows the effect and correctness of the influence to be recognized immediately. According to the invention, a device in the form of a quotient instrument is provided, one coil of the quotient measuring unit being supplied with a proportional current obtained from the electrical power of the generator from a transducer and the second coil of the quotient measuring unit supplied with a current obtained from two bridge circuits , whereby the output voltage of the one bridge equipped with resistors for the upper and lower water level, which is proportional to the water level difference, forms the input voltage for the second bridge, which is equipped with resistance transmitters for converting the amount of water into electrical values, so that the The output voltage of the second bridge is proportional to the product of the amount of water and the difference in level. The electrical quantity corresponding to the difference in water levels between Oberuni Unterwasser is expediently obtained in a bridge circuit in which two potentiometers are adjusted by float measuring devices, which supply an electrical value proportional to the water level difference at the bridge output.
It is already known from the German patent q.66 6z3, for
Determination of the profitability of plants; to use a quotient instrument,
to which the two quantities to be compared in relative electrical quantities
be fed in transformed so that the quotient is displayed immediately and continuously
is .. In the case of the invention, this principle is also used per se,
however, the difference in the water level is formed with the help of resistance sensors
(Potentiometer) and the product formation of the amount of water times the height of fall through bridge circuits,
the advantage being achieved that the measuring arrangements become very simple ':, da
a bridge circuit consists only of resistors and is therefore easy to manufacture
is.
Another advantage is that you can use the bridge circuits
Limit the measuring range as required by selecting the individual bridge resistances
and can expand. In order to achieve completely linear relationships; to come one chooses
the input resistance for the first bridge and the bridge output resistance of the
second bridge very big. This is achieved in that the measuring amplifier in, one
Compensation circuit is used, which comes in handy. the first bridge none
Takes energy. Under this assumption, the difference between the water levels is formed
untl the multiplication of this height of fall with the amount for a very wide range of casting
strictly linear. In the case of the multiplication measuring mechanisms usually used in measuring technology,
like z ,. B. when using an electrodynamic measuring mechanism; is for one. very
wide: measuring range a strict linearity cannot be achieved; especially for
the closed-iron measuring mechanisms used in technology, the saturation conditions
in the iron change so that with small and large measured values the Pradükthildumg
is not properly given if the factors vary further. The inventive
Series connection of two bridge circuits with practically almost infinitely large
Output resistances, however, give a guarantee that the product formation also ate. stronger
Variation of the individual factors is done properly.

The measuring device consists of two bridge circuits I and II. A Resistance sensor 8 is built into the bridge I, the resistance value of which is proportional to the amount of water Q, which is expediently determined according to the pressure difference method. In the bridge I are also the resistors 9, io, ii and -12. 13 and 14 are resistance transmitters in the bridge II, through which the z. B. by means of float measuring devices measured water levels in the upper and lower water channel of the power plant are converted into proportional resistance values. With 15, 16, 17 and 18 the remaining resistors of the bridge circuit II are designated. A constant voltage source ig is connected to the corner points A2 and B2 of the bridge II. The output span of this bridge circuit to the. Points, C2 and D2 is proportional to the height difference between the upper and lower water level. The bridge circuit II is used for electrical. Subtract this water level while converting this difference into an electrical voltage value. The starting points C2 and D2 are connected to the points A1 and Bi of the bridge I. -The output voltage of the bridge 1I thus forms the input voltage for the bridge I. Nasch known laws is then the output voltage of the bridge I at the points C1 and D1 proportional to the input voltage at points A1 and Bi (which is proportional to the difference in water levels) multiplied by the resistance values that prevail in bridge I. The resistance values of bridge I at points C1 and D1 are primarily Line determined by the variable resistance value of the remote transmitter 8, so that the output voltage is a value that is proportional to the product Q - H. This output voltage is amplified by a measuring amplifier 20. On the output side are a moving-coil ammeter 21 and a counter 22. The instrument 21 can directly display the values Q # H, the counter integrates this value over time Fig. 1 shows, fed to the quotient instrument to display the economic efficiency factor.
