Description
AUSGEGEBEN AM 22. NOVEMBER 1956ISSUED NOVEMBER 22, 1956

The invention relates to a device for tightening and loosening tools with a conical Shank in or out of tool carriers, e.g. B. drilling spindles, by means of a threaded spindle arranged axially to the tool carrier.
Devices are already known for pressing tools with a steep taper out of the tool holder to be able to. Since steep cones have no self-locking, only a small one is required xo release pressure to. to push them out of the tool holder. For this reason, one is sufficient for tools with a steep taper to eject the tool taper threaded spindle firmly supported in the carrier. In this known device, the Tool · ejecting threaded spindle by means of an externally operable, inside the tool holder arranged bevel gear rotated and shifted axially.
When using tools with Morse and metric tapers, such simple advantages are ao directions, as they are known for tools with steep taper, not useful because as a result of large self-locking of Morse and metric tapers! considerable forces to push them out Cones are required.
In order to generate the large forces necessary to push out Morse and metric tapers, differential thread arrangement
Applications for pressing the tool cone in place and pushing it loose are used. In a known design the drilling spindle has an external thread on which the differential lead screw nut is screwed is arranged. By turning the differential screw nut in one direction or the other the taper of the tool in the spindle is tightened or loosened.
Such differential nuts can only be used ίο for certain smaller machines, where it is possible to operate the nuts by hand. But you are unsuitable, for example, for large boring mill spindles with a diameter of 150 to 300 mm. With such dimensions, differential nuts can no longer be used because the drilling spindle must be pulled completely into the headstock for a number of jobs and the protruding mother would be in the way. This would result in the nut being unscrewed would have to be. However, screwing and unscrewing such large nuts exceeds that human physical strength. Aside from these drawbacks, it is also because of the expected ones Damage inexpedient to provide the very expensive drilling spindles with an external thread.
The use of differential nuts to tighten and loosen tool cones is also disadvantageous in that no standardized tools can be used because of these no external tightening thread is provided * ".
Another known locking and unlocking device, which for clamping the tapered tool shank in a hollow-tapered one Holder is used and can be inserted into the holder as a cross wedge, is unsuitable for such purposes. For this purpose, it only has one in an elongated hole in the tapered tool shank by means of a differential thread '' Tongue to be pushed in, which by pulling back releases the tool, but does not eject. To expel the tool, this device has a holder in the holder usual expeller slot. The ejection of tools with a taper shank by means of a hammer Cross wedge, however, harbors the risk of damage to the drilling spindle, which is not in Purchase can be made.
The object of the invention is to provide a device that allows the loosening and tightening of Morse and metric tapers with their large self-locking even from large boring mill spindles Diameter using a differential screw spindle without the tool holder to damage, and which is also easy to use.
This object is achieved in that the threaded spindle, which is known in Way causes the ejection or tightening of the tool in the tool holder, on your dem Werjkzeugschaft opposite end with another, dm a corresponding nut thread of the Tool carrier engaging thread is provided with a smaller pitch.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the threaded spindle has the tool facing end a threaded extension of smaller diameter for attachment of tools in reducing sleeves that are drilled through for the passage of the threaded spindle.
In the drawing, the invention is based on two exemplary embodiments illustrated.

The tool 1 engages mist its conical Shank 2 in the usual way into hollow cone 3 of tool carrier 4. In the embodiment According to Fig. 1 is in the tool holder 4 · at the end of the hollow cone 3, z. B. by the grub screw 5 lockable bearing bush 6 for a bevel gear 7 embedded, with another Bevel gear 8 meshes into a hole 9 perpendicular to the axis of the tool carrier 4 from the outside forth rotatable, but is inserted axially immovable. The annular disk 10 is used to fix and- dust sealing of the bevel gear 8. An internal square 11 allows the introduction of a key to turn the bevel gear 8.
In the bevel gear 7 there is a spindle 12 in the axis of the tool carrier 4 mounted longitudinally displaceably, which upon rotation of the bevel gear 7, for example 'is taken along by means of the longitudinal wedges 13.
Widerlager. The spindle 12 is provided at its end facing the tool 1 with a thread 16 which fits into a corresponding nut thread 17 at the end of the tool shank 2, and equipped at the opposite end with a thread 18 of smaller pitch, so that the tool shank 2 when screwing the threaded spindle 12 is drawn into the threads 17 and 19 by turning the bevel drive 8, 7 into the hollow cone 3 of the tool carrier and is held there. The diameter of the spindle 12 can be made so strong that it can absorb the considerable forces when the tool is pushed out of the hollow cone of the tool carrier without difficulty. In order to prevent the entire axial pressure from being absorbed by the bevel gear 7 or the bearing bush 6 when the tool is being pulled in and tightened, the spindle 12 is also provided at the end opposite the tool with a thread 18 which is inserted into a corresponding nut thread 19 engages at the bottom of the bore 15 of the tool carrier 4. The threads 16, 17 and 18, 19, however, have different pitches, so that the cone iao drive 7, 8 as a result of the differential effect occurring from the tightening and squeezing pressures. Tightening and loosening the tool is completely relieved. Collars or rings 20, 21 provided on the spindle serve as stops or 1 . Abutment.
Fig. 1 mit gestrichelten Linien angedeutet. In Fig. 2 an embodiment is shown, which the use of smaller tool cones with the aid a reducing sleeve 22. For this case, the spindle 12 has a tool side Extension 23, which is provided at the end with a thread 24, which in the corresponding nut thread 2 5 of the smaller tool cone 2 'fits into it. The threads 24, 25 and 18, 19 again have differential gradients, so that the bevel drive 7, 8 is also relieved of pressure here. The reducing sleeve 22 has an axial bore 26 for the spindle extension 23 to pass through. Intended to a spindle 12 provided with an extension 23 as well can be used equally for larger as well as for smaller tools, so is In addition to the thread 24 at the end of the spindle, the thread 16 described above is also to be provided, such as shown in FIG. In larger tool shafts, only one would then be an extension 23 to provide the corresponding length of the receiving bore 27, as in. Fig. 1 with dashed lines Lines indicated.
