Description
Device for focusing on television cameras. The invention relates to devices for adjusting the lenses of a television shooting camera on the object to be transferred as well as to quickly change these lenses.
It is known from photographic recording technology for cameras With multiple lenses you can adjust focus by moving the lenses containing turret head. For focusing, and a different operating device is used to change the lenses.
If the two operating devices are now operated with one hand, so there is inevitably a certain time delay when changing and renewing lenses Focusing available, as both settings were only made one after the other can be. If, however, the device for changing the lenses with the one Hand and the focus is operated with the other hand, the cameraman is especially with very heavy cameras, hardly able to change the selected setting to be maintained, so that the image section to be transmitted shifts.
The object of the invention is now to eliminate these disadvantages. According to the invention is proposed in a device for focusing cameras of the to be set Lenses arranged on a turret head and this by operating a lever in the direction of the axis of the lenses with respect to the camera housing containing the immovably arranged pickup tube can be moved to make the arrangement so that both the focus the lenses as well as the lens change is carried out by means of a single lever will.
Although it is known both the display of the set distance as well as for the display of the lens in working position Device to use. But it is not possible with this design to have a Actuation of focus and lens change with the same lever instead, various operating devices are provided for this purpose.
In contrast, the present invention has the essential advantage the one-handed operation, with the operating lever also being particularly cheaper Be attached to the side of the camera within easy reach of the cameraman can.
It has proven to be particularly advantageous for focusing to use a relatively small swivel range of the operating lever, e.g. 9o °, and the objective change by turning the setting lever by 18o °, preferably 36o °.
The invention is described below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment described.
(Fig.3). Fig. 2 zeigt einen Blick auf dieses Zahnrad 13. Fig. I shows a horizontal cross section through an inventive Arrangement. Here i represent the turret head on which the 'objectives 2 and 3 are attached. The turret is about the axis d. rotatable and along opposite it the camera housing arranged displaceably. The longitudinal movement of the turret head happens. by turning the focus lever 5, which is firmly attached to the shaft 6 is. On this shaft, the eccentric 7 is also attached, which in the given example has the shape of a double heart curve. (Fig. 3). The rotation of the focus lever is transmitted via the eccentric 7 and the ball 8 to the lever 9, which in turn move the turret to the left by means of a fork (not shown) or releases it so that the concentric to the axis q. attached spring io this one again brings it back to its original position. The eccentric is adjusted so that the Focusing lever has its rest position in the vertical position downwards, d. H., the turret is retracted and the objectives are set to infinity. Moving the focus lever forward or backward turns the turret extended and then reaches its greatest distance from the camera when the adjustment lever is rotated by -f- go ° or -9o ° from the rest position. With the turret fully extended can a change of the lenses, i. H. a turning of the turret head, by a Turn the focus lever once in any direction by 36o °. The following arrangement is used for this: In addition to the eccentric 7, there is a gear on the axis 6 12 firmly attached, which is constantly in engagement with the axis q. rotatable attached gear 13 is. Fig. 2 shows a view of this gear 13. It Has a cutout 1q., in which the two are firmly connected to the camera head Pins 15 and 16 protrude. The milling is chosen so that a rotation of the Gear by ± q.5 ° around the o-position is possible without the pins 15 and 16 and so that the turret can be rotated. In the example given is the reduction ratio of gears 12 and 13 selected as 1: 2. It is of course also possible If necessary, to -select a different reduction ratio, namely if several Objectives are attached to the turret head; for example, there are three lenses the reduction ratio 1: 3 to choose, so that each complete revolution the focus lever corresponds to a transition from one lens to the other. In general, however, the reduction i: n must be chosen if ya die Number of lenses is.
When using multiple lens sets, the fact that that a lens change by turning the focus lever in both directions is possible, especially, favorably noticeable. It is thereby possible, for example pass from the first to the last lens by just one rotation without to bring all the intervening lenses in front of the camera one after the other. ' The Arrangement also has the significant advantage that when transitioning from an objective on the other the camera is out of focus, so that a smooth transition is achieved.
The revolver head snaps back into the rest position during when changing the lens is undesirable, as this would destroy sensitive components could occur. In the present embodiment of the invention, this will be the case made impossible that the pin firmly connected to the turret head i i only then snap into one or more openings in the camera housing when the lens is in the working position. Contains the turret several lenses, the number of openings in the camera body must be equal to the number be the lenses.
To close the turret head in one position after changing the objective lock that corresponds to the correct working position of the lens is the strap-on Roller 17 is provided, which by a spring in the radial direction against the turret head belonging ring 18 is pressed. Has the lens taken the correct position? (as shown in Fig. i), then the roller engages silently in one of the rings in the ring 18 attached openings.
To compensate for the pressure on the camp, for example symmetrical to the role 17 on the opposite side of the turret head two more rollers must be attached, which also press radially against the ring 18, however, due to their attachment to a single lever, not in one of the recesses can engage in ring 18.
It goes without saying that this arrangement could also be made differently can be, for example in the way that the rollers are firmly connected to the turret and one of them can snap into a recess in the camera housing.
In the case of television cameras with an optical viewfinder, you also need lenses for image transmission (working lenses) also lenses for generating the viewfinder image (Viewfinder lenses). Because the viewfinder image will be similar to the transmitted image must, you have mechanical arrangements that the viewfinder lenses on the turret head in Twist and focus in the same way as the working lenses. Each Working lens corresponds to a specific viewfinder lens, which is why this combination of the work lens and the viewfinder lens is referred to as a lens pair. The foregoing Explanations also apply mutatis mutandis if, in place of a lens, a z. B. A pair of lenses consisting of the recording lens and the viewfinder lens occurs. The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiment described, but can analogously can be applied to all types of television cameras.
