Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein verstellbarer Schraubenschlüssel, ist auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung in Fig. 1 in der Seitenansicht, in Fig. 2 in der Vorderansicht und in Fig. 3 im Schnitt nach Linie x-y in Fig. 1 dargestellt. Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, besteht der Schlüssel aus der mit einem Handhebel b fest verbundenen Backe a, welche bei a^l gegen den Handhebel b abgesetzt' ist. Vom Fufs der festen Backe α beginnend, ist der Handhebel b mit einer Zahnstange b^l versehen, welche die gleiche Richtung wie der Absatz a¹ besitzt. Ueber die Zahnstange b^l greift mit zwei Lappen c^l c^l die bewegliche Backe c, welche dort, wo die beiden Lappen c¹ c¹ in die Backe c übergehen, und zwar zwischen den beiden Lappen, ebenfalls mit einer Zahnstange c² versehen ist (s. Fig. 4). Die beiden Zahnstangen b¹ und c² greifen in einander, wobei sich die beiden Lappen c¹ c¹ gegen die Absätze a¹ a¹ der festen Backe α legen. Die beiden Backen a und c erhalten somit einerseits durch Ineinandergreifen der Zahnstangen b¹ und c², andererseits dadurch, dafs sich die Lappen c¹ c¹ gegen die Absätze α¹ α^Λ legen, den erforderlichen gegenseitigen festen Halt beim Gebrauch. Durch Hin- und Herschieben der beweglichen Backe c wird die jeweilig verschieden grofse Maulweite erzielt.
