Durch die Kombination dieser Merkmale wird die erforderliche Vorspureinstellung der Räder auf einfache Weise herbeigeführt, und die Ungenauigkeiten der Einstellung gleichen sich durch die Pendelrollenlager von selbst aus. Würde man entgegen diesem Vorschlag die Lagerstellen durch Schrägbohrungen einbringen, so würde dies außerordentliöhe Genauigkeit und komplizierte Maschinen und Vorrichtungen erfordern.
