Die durch das Haupt-Patent Nr. 87214 geschützte Stopfbüchse hat sich ausgezeichnet bewährt, insbesondere was die gleichmäfsige und geringe Abnutzung des Dichtungsmaterials, sowie was die gute Dichtung an sich anbetrifft. Es ist daher das Bestreben vorhanden, diese Stopfbüchse für alle Fälle anwendbar zu machen. Hierbei hat sich auch der Wunsch geltend gemacht, die Stopfbüchse auch derart einzurichten, dafs den häufig auftretenden zitternden Bewegungen der Kolbenstange, sowie den Bestrebungen derselben, sich um ein Geringes seitlich auszubiegen, Rechnung getragen wird. Bei der den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildenden Stopfbüchse wird diesem Erfordernifs dadurch entsprochen, dafs im Innern des Stopfbüchsengehäuses eine besondere Hülse angeordnet wird, welche als eigentliche Stopfbüchse dient und im Gehäuse eine gewisse Beweglichkeit besitzt.The stuffing box protected by the main patent no. 87214 has stood out proven, in particular with regard to the uniform and low wear of the sealing material, as well as good poetry itself.
