Description
Offset wire for underground operations In underground coal mining, often the charred part of the seams with mountains added. One makes use of it of the mountain offset. in which by means of a compressed air stream the backfill in the longwall is blown into it. To keep the work area in the face free of backfill material, the offset mountains are made by offset wire, be it fabric. or braid, dammed, which are optionally connected to a paper web, so that the fine-grained Portions of the backfill material are retained.
It is known as a wire mesh or wire mesh as offset wire to be used with square, rectangular or triangular openings. One such Braid or fabric has the disadvantage that the longitudinal or transverse wires are easy Can be moved, creating larger openings that allow the backfill to pass through. In order to avoid this disadvantage, a wire network has been adopted, which made of longitudinal and transverse wires that are electrically welded to one another at the crossing points consists. In such a welded wire network, the location of the individual Wires immutable to each other, creating a security against the formation of larger openings is given. The welded together are also supported Line and cross wires mutually, so that without impairing the stability of Offset wire the strength of the individual wires compared to 'the previously common braided or woven offset wire can be reduced.
Since the meshes of the offset wire may only be so large that the Versatzgut is just held back, and often the Versatzgut quite small-grained is, the offset wire must be particularly close-meshed. On the usual welding machines can produce a close-knit network but not economically will.
The invention is based on the object of a close-knit wire network to create, which is cheap and technical with the help of the usual welding machines is easy to manufacture. To achieve this goal, it follows the guiding principle, two layers of wire, which are made of lengthways welded together at the crossing points and transverse wires, with longitudinal and transverse wires running offset to one another on top of each other.
The idea of the invention can be implemented in various ways. So the wire body can consist of a hose-like wire network, the such flat-rolled knots, that. the two corresponding wire layers offset to one another running longitudinal. and cross wires lie on top of one another. But the wire body can also advantageously consist of a wire network made with double width, from which a double-layer wire body is formed by folding over.
The offset wire designed according to the invention has the advantage that »From a large-meshed one that can be economically produced on conventional welding machines Wire network and the technical difficulties involved in making of a close-knit wire network on the welding machine, avoids. By laying the strips on top of one another, the original mesh size can be made practical can be reduced to the fourth part so that the offset wire is tightly meshed. The inventive .Aführung but also a higher strength of the Wire network to the extent that the number of welds in the individual Wires and the associated change in the structure of the wire body come in handy is only half as large or as frequent as with a single-layer design. It is as a result possible to reduce the wire thickness and also the number of wires or the mesh width without increasing the stability of the network compared to the usual ones Affect embodiments.
Turns. one the inventive double-layer, training of the Offset wire, there is also the possibility of a paper web between to arrange the two net layers after the flat rolling or folding over and welding is securely held between the two wire mesh layers.
The wire network according to the invention can also be used as a Rabitz wire and be used to cover joints in construction.
