Beim Transport von Stoßstangen werden Spezialgestelle benötigt. Sie haben komplizierte Aufnahmen, durch die die Stoßstangen über Klemmverschlüsse gehalten werden. Diese Klemmverschlüsse nehmen viel Platz ein, so daß die Anzahl der Stoßstangen pro Gestell stark reduziert wird. Man fährt viel Luft spazieren. Man braucht viel mehr Gestelle und verliert auch im Handling viel Platz. Zudem ist das Handling alleine schon durch die viel größere Anzahl der Gestelle sehr kostenintensiv und umständlich. Zudem ist die Automation sowohl beim Herstellen der Stoßstangen, wie auch beim Verbraucher sehr kompliziert, wenn überhaupt störungsfrei möglich, denn die lackierten Stoßstangen sind sehr empfindlich. So ist die Packungsdichte pro Gestelle fast auf das Doppelte erhöht. Der Nutzungsgrad ist fast 100 %. Das Handling und die Automation beim Hersteller, wie beim Verbraucher wird wesentlich vereinfacht. Einfach von oben nach unten einhängen und wieder umgekehrt aushängen. Das ist alles.
