Beschreibung
DachdeckungDescription
Roofing
It is known that roof surfaces can become covered in vegetation, such as algae or moss, under atmospheric influences, which makes the roof surfaces unsightly. Apart from the negative visual impression of these roof surfaces, the tightness of the roof surfaces is also adversely affected and the service life is limited.
The aim of the innovation is to create a roof covering that remains easily and safely free of vegetation and contamination.
According to the innovation, this task is solved by the fact that the end of the roof surface closest to the ridge in the longitudinal direction of the roof has at least some sections of roof panels, roof tiles or the like or ridge caps made of copper or with copper-containing inclusions. The end of the roof surface closest to the ridge is preferably covered over the entire length of the roof with roof panels, roof tiles or the like made of copper or with copper-containing inclusions. The strips or strip sections made of copper or copper-containing materials thus formed at the upper end of the roof cause a release of copper solution to the roof surface under atmospheric influences, e.g. during rainfall, under the influence of which the roof covering remains free of vegetation or the like.
In the design of the roof covering, it is intended that the roof panels, roof tiles and/or the ridge caps are made of solid bodies made of copper, copper alloys or copper-containing materials. It is also intended that the roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps made of clay, glass or concrete materials are provided with a pan or cap fixed or attachable cladding or the like made of copper or copper-containing materials. It is also conceivable to apply a fixed or attachable cladding made of copper or copper-containing materials extending over a partial surface to the roof panels and roof tiles made of clay, glass or concrete materials. The cladding can preferably be formed by copper sheet moldings. It is also conceivable that the roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps have a coating, e.g. an electrolytic coating made of copper. The coating can be achieved in a simple manner by annodic oxidation. It is also possible to provide the roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps with a copper coating applied by metal vapor deposition.
Auch beiFinally, in the further development of the roof covering, particles or inserts made of copper or copper-containing materials can be embedded in the roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps made of clay, glass or concrete materials. The particles or inserts are best embedded when the roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps are formed.

This roof covering is easy to keep free of vegetation by dissolving copper components under atmospheric influences.
Furthermore, roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps made of copper or copper-containing materials can be used as parts of lightning protection systems. The roof panels, roof tiles and/or ridge caps can replace the ridge conductors that are usually used.
Es zeigen:The innovation is illustrated using examples in the drawing. They show:

Fig. 8 einen Biberschwanzziegel in abgewandelter Ausführung.Fig. 8 shows a modified version of a plain tile.
For the roof covering according to Fig. 1, plain tiles 1 made of clay, glass or concrete materials are used. At the end of the roof covering closest to the ridge 2, copper plates 3 in the shape of plain tiles are laid in two rows. Ridge tiles 4 are designated, which are made either from clay, glass or concrete materials or from copper or copper materials. Under the influence of atmospheric influences acting on the copper plates, e.g. rainfall, copper solution is formed, which, by flowing down over the roof surface, keeps it free of vegetation or the like.
The embodiment of Fig. 2 and 3 shows roof tiles 5 made of copper to form a strip-shaped roof covering near the ridge. In Fig. 4, a plain tile is shown as a hollow body made of copper, which is laid to form a roof covering strip near the ridge.
Fig. 5 shows a cross-section of a plain tile made from a sheet metal part made from copper. The use of sheet metal parts instead of solid bodies offers the advantage of saving material. Fig. 6 shows a plain tile with a partial length made from copper, which has a strip-shaped cut 6 bent like a hook as a fastening element. The plain tile can be made as a solid body or as a sheet metal part.
The plain tile 3 shown in Fig. 8 is made of clay or concrete materials and has a large number of inclusions 7 made of copper or copper-containing materials. The inclusions 7 are introduced into the brick mass during the manufacture of these plain tile tiles.
