In Fig. 1 ist mit 1 ein im Querschnitt U-förmiges Profil bezeichnet, dessen freie Ränder nach innen gebogen sind. Zur Ausbildung des Schlitzes 11 sind an den beiden Schenkeln des Verbindungselementes 10 nach unten abstehende L-förmige Laschen 12 ausgebildet, die bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel mit einer entsprechend geformten, L-förmigen Versteifungssicke 13 versehen sind. Die Schenkelhöhe des Verbxndungselementes 10 entspricht im wesentlichen der Schenkelhöhe des U-Profils 1, während sich die beiden Laschen 12 weiter nach unten erstrecken, so daß der Schlitz 11 auf die Höhe der Unterseite des U-Profils 1 zu liegen kommt.
