Anwendung findet die Erfindung bei Topfpflanzen für Innenräume und insbesondere bei Zierpflanzen, welche aus optischen und/oder Gründen der Pflanzenstatik bzw. dem Gewicht ihrer Blüten einer dauernden oder nur vorübergehenden Halterung bzw. Bei einem solchen Einstecken des Haltestabes muß aber in der Regel der Wurzelstock der Pflanze durchstoßen werden, was zu mehr oder weniger großen Verletzungen der Topfpflanze führt und ihr Eingehen zur Folge haben kann. Die Haltevorrichtung für Pflanzen besteht (Figur 1) aus drei Teilen: einem Steckschild 1, einem Tragarm 2 sowie einem Haltestab 3. Der schwenkbare und damit gegenüber der Topfpflanze 17 einstellbare Tragarm 2 liegt dicht über der den Wurzelstock 18 bedeckenden Erde und ist zum Stamm der Pflanze hin ausgerichtet.
