Die Erfindung betrifft den Kopf einer Zahnbürste, die sowohl motor- als auch hanbbetrieben sein kann. Bei herkömmlichen Zahnbürsten befinden sich auf dem Zahnbürstenkopf Borsten, die die Zähne mit HuTe von Zahnpasta reinigen soll. Diese Borsten haben einen so großen Durchmesser, daß sie nicht in die mikroskopisch feinen Vertiefungen der Zähne reichen können und dadurch die Zähne nur unzureichend reinigen. Zudem können die Borsten durch ihre Härte das Zahnfleisch sehr leicht verletzen. Die Zahnpasta ist als zusätzliches chemisches Reinigungsmittel aus oben genanntem Grund nötig, in ihr sind auch feine Partikel verbracht, die in die Vertiefungen eindringen sollen und so eine Reinigung ermöglichen sollen. Ebenso können aber die Vertiefungen auch damit zugeschmiert werden, und erst beim Nachspülen mit Wasser wieder frei werden. Zahnpasta wird außerdem von vielen Menschen wegen des Geschmacks als unangenehm empfunden.The invention relates to the head of a toothbrush, which can be motor- or hand-operated. Die Lösung der gestellten Aufgabe gelingt erfindungsgemäß durch eine Zahnbürste, bei der als mechanisch wirkendes Mittel zur Reinigung feinste Fasern vorgesehen sind, die einerseits so dünn sind, daß sie auch in feinste Vertiefungen gelangen und so weich sind, daß sie das Zahnfleisch nicht verletzen, andererseits aber auch so beschaffen sein müssen, daß sie sich den groben Formen des Gesamtgebisses besonders auch der Zahnzwischenräume anpassen.
An Hand der Zeichnungen werden im Folgenden die Ausgestaltung der erfindungsgemäßen Zahnbürste genauer beschrieben.The task is therefore to create a toothbrush that avoids the disadvantages mentioned above and that enables gentle and thorough cleaning even without toothpaste. Dicke Wandungen führten aber dazu, daß unvorteilhaft weniger Fasern untergebracht werden könnten. Die durch diese Maßnahme gewonnene Steifheit verleiht dem Faserbüschel ähnliche mechanische Eigenschaften, wie sie Borstenbüscheln bei Zahnbürsten herkömmlicher Bauart haben. Hierdurch können auch vorteilhafte Anstellwinkel der Faserbüschel verwirklicht werden. Auch ist es möglich den erforderlichen Druck beim Reinigen auf die Zähne auszuüben. Werden die Fasern gekräuselt ausgebildet, wie in Figur 2 zu sehen ist, biegen sie entsprechend ihrer Kräuselung außerhalb des Mantels in verschiedene Richtungen auseinander, wodurch sich insgesamt eine lockerere Struktur im Faserbüschel ergibt, das dann durch die gebildeten Lücken besser gereinigt werden kann, und das auch bessere Reinigungseigenschaften dadurch hat, daß die einzelnen Fasern in verschiedenen Richtungen aus dem Büschel ragen und Rundungen der Zähne besser durch die Fasern umformt werden.Fibers (1), e.g. made of nylon, are surrounded by a sheath (2) in tufts and subjected to pressure.
