Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Einkaufswagen 1 steht stellvertretend für die vielen gängigen Einkaufswagen 1, bei denen die Neuerung anwendbar ist. Alle diese Einkaufswagen 1 weisen ein Fahrgestell 2 auf, das ein Behältnis 5 in der bevorzugten Form eines Korbes trägt. Am rückwärtigen Ende 3 des Einkaufswagens 1 ist eine Schiebeeinrichtung 4 vorgesehen, die entweder am Behältnis 5 oder am Fahrgestell 2 angeordnet ist. Die aus Drahtgitter und/oder aus Kunststoff bestehende Rückwand 8 des Behältnisses 5 ist in bekannter Weise um eine oben liegende horizontale Achse 9 verschwenkbar gelagert, damit in ebenfalls bekannter Weise gleiche Einkaufswagen 1 platzsparend ineinandergeschoben werden können. Sowohl das Behältnis 5, als auch das Fahrgestell 2 sind deshalb entsprechend konisch, gewöhnlich in Schieberichtung sich verjüngend, gestaltet. Im Beispiel weist das Fahrgestell 2 in seinem hinteren Bereich zwei Tragstücke in Form von nach oben strebenden Holmen 2" auf, an welchen in bekannter Weise das Behältnis 5 befestigt ist. Die Holme 2' münden oberhalb des Behältnisses 5 in die Schiebeeinrichtung 4. Im rückwärtigen Bereich 3 des Einkaufswagens 1 ist eine Ablage 13 vorgesehen, die zur Aufnahme größerer Gegenstände 22 geeignet ist und die aus einer tiefer als das Behältnis 5 gelegenen ortsfesten Abstellfläche 14 und aus einem um eine horizontale Achse 15 schwenkbar gelagerten Anschlag 16 besteht, wobei die horizontale Achse 15 näher am vorderen Ende 3¹ des Einkaufswagens 1 angeordnet ist, als die hintere Begrenzung 14' der Abstellfläche 14. Die horizontale Achse 15 erstreckt sich quer zur Schieberichtung des Einkaufswagens 1. Eine verschiebbare Abstellfläche 14 ist beispielsweise durch die EP 0 349 423 Al bekannt. Oberhalb der Abstellfläche 14 befindet sich der bügeiförmige Anschlag 16, vgl. Fig. 1. Er ist in Gebrauchslage dargestellt und umfaßt einen größeren, auf der Abstellfläche befindlichen Gegenstand 22. Im Beispiel ist der Anschlag 16 mit seinen beiden Schenkeln 17 in horizontalen Öffnungen 20 gelagert, die sich in den Holmen 2¹ befinden. Die Öffnungen 20, oder auch Lager, befinden sich auf der horizontalen Achse 15, die wiederum höher als die Abstellfläche 14 und tiefer als die Schiebeeinrichtung 4 angeordnet ist. Auch erkennt man in der Zeichnung, daß die horizontale Achse 15 näher am vorderen Ende 3' des Einkaufswagens 1 angeordnet ist, als die hintere Begrenzung 14' der Abstellfläche 14.Fig. 2 shows the shopping cart 1 described in Fig. 1 in side view. In den Öffnungen 20 befinden sich Abschnitte 18 der gewöhnlich aus Draht bestehenden Schenkel 17, wobei die Abschnitte 18 so abgebogen sind, daß diese eine horizontale Lage einnehmen. Die Abschnitte 18 befinden sich auf der horizontalen Achse 15. Die lichte Weite B der Schenkel 17 ist annähernd gleich, bevorzugt jedoch geringfügig größer als die größte entsprechend gemessene lichte Weite der Seitenwände 6 des Behältnisses 5. Die lichte Weite B ist jedoch auf jeden Fall größer, als die Breite A der Rückwand 8. Die Querverbindung 19 des Anschlages 16, ebenfalls bevorzugt aus Draht gefertigt, befindet sich in Nichtgebrauchslage der Ablage 13 entweder höchstens auf gleicher Höhe wie die hintere Begrenzung 7 des in Schieberichtung ansteigenden Bodens des Behältnisses 5, oder geringfügig tiefer.
