Der Isolierkörper im Türblatt einer Kesseltür schützt diese gegen die hohen Feuerraumtemperaturen. Dafür sind solche Materialien geeignet, die den hohen Temperaturen standhalten und eine wärmedämmende Wirkung besitzen. Neben Keramikkörpern sind auch Einsätze aus Fasermaterialien gebräuchlich. Als geeignet haben sich Mineralfasereinsätze erwiesen, insbesondere sind Mineralfaserprodukte mit erhöhter physiologischer Abbaubarkeit vorteilhaft einsetzbar. Bei der Anwendung dieser Faserprodukte sollte aber darauf geachtet werden, daß ein Abtrag feinster Partikel und Bestandteile von der Oberfläche mechanisch durch den Rauchgasstrom und/oder chemisch durch korrosive Abgasbestandteile vermieden wird.The insulating body in the door leaf of a boiler door protects it against the high combustion chamber temperatures.
