BeschreibungDescription
Die Erfindung betrifft einen im Wege der Blasformgebung aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff hergestellten Behälter für die Aufnahme von in bezug auf Entflammung und/oder Explosion sicherheitsbedürftigen fließfähigen Medien. - Bei den fließfähigen Medien kann es sich um Flüssigkeiten, um Gase oder auch um feinteilige Medien handeln. Die elektrostatische Aufladung ist bekanntlich eine Reibungsaufladung. Sie kann verhältnismäßig hohe Spannung und beachtliche Energien aufweisen, so daß eine Funkenentladung zu zündfähigen Funken führt.The invention relates to a container made of thermoplastic material by blow molding for holding flowable media that require safety in terms of ignition and/or explosion. - The flowable media can be liquids, gases or finely divided media. Behälter aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, die antistatisch ausgerüstet sind, sind bekannt. Nach dem Stand der Technik werden leitfähige Substanzen in den Werkstoff eingebettet, aus dem der Behälter aufgebaut ist. Das kann zu Beeinträchtigungen der Festigkeit führen, was sich insbesondere bei durch Blasformgebung hergestellten Behältern negativ auswirkt. Demgegenüber geht die Erfindung von der Erkenntnis aus, daß es zur antistatischen Ausrüstung eines 0 im Wege der Blasformgebung hergestellten Behälters aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff nicht erforderlich ist, antistatisch wirkende Substanzen in den Kunststoff einzumischen. Es ist überraschenderweise ausreichend, sich kreuzende, bandförmige Sicherheitsstreifen anzubringen, wenn diese so aufgebaut sind, wie es sich aus den Merkmalen b) und c) des Schutzanspruches 1 ergibt. Die Festigkeit des Behälters wird dadurch nicht störend beeinflußt.Containers made of thermoplastic material that are antistatic are known. Im einzelnen bestehen im Rahmen der Erfindung mehrere Möglichkeiten der weiteren Ausbildung und Gestaltung des erfindungsgemäßen Behälters. So handelt es sich bei dem leitfähigen Pulver nach bevorzugter Ausführungsform der Erfindung um Metallpulver, beispielsweise Kupfer- und/oder Zinkpulver. Um die Einbettung des Pulvers bzw. der Pulverteilchen zu verbessern, empfiehlt es sich, z. B. durch eine Beflammung oder eine Koronaentladung, ggf. aber auch durch eine mechanische Behandlung, die Oberflächenhaut des Behälters zumindest im Bereich der Sicherheitsstreifen aufzubrechen. Die Sicherheitsstreifen werden nach bevorzugter Ausführungsform der Erfindung mit Hilfe eines Plasmastrahls eingesintert. Das führt zu einer Struktur, die am fertigen Behälter ohne weiteres erkennbar ist.In detail, there are several possibilities within the scope of the invention for further design and construction of the container according to the invention. Der in den Figuren dargestellte Behälter 1 wurde im Wege der Blasformgebung aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff geformt. Die Außenoberfläche des Behälters 1 weist ein nach der Blasformgebung aufgebrachtes Netz aus sich kreuzenden, bandförmigen Sicherheitsstreifen 2 auf. Die Sicherheitsstreifen 2 bestehen aus einem leitfähigen Pulver. Bei dem leitfähigen Pulver mag es sich um ein Metallpulver handeln. Der Sintervorgang ist so geführt, daß der Sicherheitsstreifen 2 eine für die Verhinderung der elektrostatischen Aufladung ausreichende elektrische Leitfähigkeit aufweist. Das bedeutet, daß die Sicherheitsstreifen 2 ausreichend 0 breit sind und eine ausreichende Menge an leitfähigem Pulver aufweisen. Als leitfähiges Pulver wird vorzugsweise Kupferpulver und/oder Zinkpulver verwendet. Aus Maßstabsgründen nicht erkennbar ist die Tatsache, daß die Oberflächenhaut des Behälters 1 zumindest im Bereich der Sicherheitsstreifen 2, z. B. durch eine Beflammung oder eine Koronaentladung, aufgebrochen sein kann. Das verbessert die Haftung des leitfähigen Pulvers in den Sicherheitsstreifen 2. Das leitfähige Pulver wird zweckmäßigerweise mit Hilfe eines Plasmastrahls eingesintert.
