The cover flap (I) covers the lace cover. A strap made of flexible plastic material or similar, tear-resistant and particularly durable material is permanently fixed to the inside of the shoe, e.g. by sewing it on. (I a)

The fastening strap runs around the upper shaft on the back of the shoe above the ankle. (II)

On the outside of the shoe, the end area of the cover flap is fixed to the shoe with a Velcro fastener (II a).

The fastening strap is attached to the outside of the shoe using a Velcro fastening system or a similar durable and hard-wearing fastening system. A loop is sewn onto the cover flap or similarly fixed onto the flap (I b) and the strap is pulled through this loop and folded over.

The cover flap is made of leather and is hydrophobic or made of another water vapor permeable material that is or can be made waterproof at the same time.

The instep strap is also made of leather or other durable material and is fixed to the reinforced heel part of the shaft inside and outside of the shoe. (Ill; IHa). The inside is fixed in the same way as the outside (III b). The instep strap is fixed using a thorn buckle or another permanent fastening system and at the same time covers the cover flap to prevent the Velcro fastener from opening accidentally.

SHOES FOR ACTIVES MANAGEMENT Protection claims (§ 6 GebrmAnmV) for tongue cover and heel fixation system for sports shoes Sorting shoes with a cover flap made of hydrophobic leather firmly attached to the inside of the shoe to cover the lacing parts attached to the shoe. On the outside of the shoe and in the upper area, the cover flap can be securely and repeatedly closed with a Velcro fastener. The upper part of the tongue is additionally secured by a 2-3 cm wide strap, which secures the cover tongue to the inside and outside of the shoe in the upper area of the shaft using a circumferential strap. This protects the tongue against accidental opening and the strap provides additional support in the upper area of the shaft. An instep strap is firmly attached to the heel area. The shaft is reinforced in this area and the instep strap is permanently attached to the inside and outside of the shoe. The instep strap serves both to stabilize the foot in the shoe and to fix the heel. Furthermore, adjustment is achieved without adjusting the lacing. The instep strap is closed with a thorn buckle or a similar, permanent closure system.
