Abstract

The sandwich maker has at least two plates (2,3) on which the food is placed. At least one plate is made up of two materials, comprising an aluminium core and an outer high-grade steel layer facing the grill space. This steel layer is rolled on. One plate can be tilted on an arm (4) and the other plate is fixed. There is a knuckle joint between the tilting plate and its arm. This same plate has a strut to make it feel weightless, this being incorporated into the arm and using a spring. The electric heaters for the plates are separately controlled.
