Bei dem D. R. P. Nr. 89131 ist vorausgesetzt gewesen, dafs der Stuhl gepolstert und dafs das Waschbecken (g) im Rücken der Lehne durch das Polster verdeckt wird. Hierbei können sich jedoch in der Praxis zwei Uebelstä'nde herausstellen, und zwar 1. dafs der Stuhl zu theuer und daher unbemittelten Personen die Anschaffung erschwert wird, 2. dafs die Lehne, wenn auf ein grofses Waschbecken Gewicht gelegt wird, zu unförmlich werden mufs. Um das zu vermeiden, kann entweder die in jeder Höhe einstellbare und umlegbare Lehne des D. R. P. Nr. 89131 so geformt sein, dafs sie mit dem Rahmen η ein Waschbecken selbst bildet, oder aber, da dies den Stuhl unschön machen würde, wenn so das Waschbecken sichtbar, unabhängig von der Lehne, aber innerhalb des Stuhles, z. B. durch Einschieben unter den Stuhlsitz ο, angebracht wird, oder es kann letzterer durch einen besonderen Einsatz etc. das Waschbecken g aufnehmen.
