Beim normalen Austreten der Kupplung verlängert sich dann die Stange 6, ohne daß der Kupplungshebel 3 mitbewegt wird. Wird dagegen der Kupplungshebel 3 mit der Hand zurückgezogen, so daß er senkrecht neben den Schalthebel 2 zu stehen kommt (Abb. 2), dann drückt die Koppelstange 6 das Kupplungspedal nach vorn, wodurch die Kupplung gelöst wird. Die Handknöpfe der beiden 'Hebel 2 und 3 liegen nun dicht nebeneinander, so daß der Fahrer sie mit einer Hand fassen und so die Schaltbewegungen ausführen kann. Eine etwaige geringfügige Rückbewegung des Kupplungshebels 3 übt dabei keinen Einfluß auf die Kupplung aus.
