3o°/oigen Dampf usw. ergibt.
sondern in gebundener Form vor, und zwarIt is known that the weight ratio between ammonia and water in the vapor phase depends in a certain way on the composition of the bottom liquid, in such a way that Henry's law applies to only weak solutions in the range from ο to about 7% for these weak solutions, according to which the The concentration of ammonia in the bottom liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of the ammonia in the vapor phase. For the weight percent composition of the liquid you can of course also express this law with the appropriate designation of the vapor composition so that within the specified limit the weight percent composition of the vapor is directly proportional to the number of moles per liter in the liquid. From the known tables it can be seen that a liquid with 1% ammonia content gives a vapor of ro 0 %, while a liquid with twice the content, i.e. 2%, a vapor of 20%, and a liquid of 3% a 30% oigen steam etc. results. The same law also applies to so-called gas water, as it occurs in the gas scrubbing process in coking plants and gas plants, usually with a content of r to 3% ammonia, rarely more. In this gas water, however, the ammonia is not present as free ammonia, but in bound form, namely
Kohlensäure oder Schwefelwasserstoff, dissoziieren. mostly mainly as carbonate and to a lesser extent as sulfide. Even so, these show
Solutions when distilled off, so at their boiling point, approximately the behavior of an aqueous one
Ammonia solution with the same ammonia content, because both salts are already in one
well below the boiling point temperature in ammonia and in the relevant acids, that is
Carbonic acid or hydrogen sulfide, dissociate.
With the large amount of these weak solutions occurring daily, it is of crucial importance for the economic viability of the gas scrubbing to achieve the abortion of this ammonia content and the two acids with as little heat as possible. But since one is forced to reach the boiling point of the corresponding ammoniacal solution in order to decompose the salts mentioned and to expel their decomposition products, the heating of the liquid from about 20 ° 'to this boiling point, which is usually above 90 °, means the main heat input in this Decomposition, so that one has always endeavored to increase the heat economy to reduce the heat consumption by transferring the heat of the boiling waste water through metal walls to the inflowing solution. Here, on the other hand, the disadvantage arises that the vapors or the gaseous acids and the ammonia then have to leave the countercurrent apparatus approximately at the boiling point of the liquid, whereby they are saturated with water vapor at this temperature according to the partial pressure "of the water vapor so that the heat saving due to the heat exchange is practically offset again; because if the solution is applied cold or slightly preheated to the countercurrent apparatus, the uppermost horizon, i.e. the inlet horizon, e.g. the uppermost bottom in bell washers, does not take up the boiling point of the respective solution, but an essential underlying temperature, which now includes a significantly lower water vapor saturation and thus a much lower heat loss is equal. the decrease of this heat loss with temperature is so rapid that he at z. B. 70 0 is only a seventieth of that at 96 °.
As in a countercurrent apparatus, which, as in the present case, uses steam as the heating medium
is operated, the task of cold liquid causes a so-called internal return, so
the solution is also considerably enriched in the uppermost floors, which is the boiling point
decreases accordingly, and so with this type of distillation a mixture is low in water vapor
obtained, which is used for further cooling, for example for the purpose of extracting gas,
ammonia, no expensive condensers and no significant effort
Requires cooling water. The apparent economy through heat exchange can thus be in such
Cases also work in the opposite direction.
To avoid these disadvantages and still achieve a higher heat economy,
one proceeds according to the invention now so that the transfer of heat from the outflowing to
the inflowing liquid is not effected directly, but indirectly, with the help of a
So-called heat pump, which means that the outflowing hot wastewater is carried through on its suction side
Self-evaporation removes a certain amount of water vapor, whereby the temperature of the
Medium decreases accordingly, and this vapor is compressed to the working pressure of the abortionist.
As is well known, there are several types of heat pumps, namely the mechanical, direct as
Piston compressor-designed design and the steam jet heat pump in which the vapors
sucked in by the flow energy of the motive steam and brought to the working pressure of the expeller in a diffuser. The former
Art requires mechanical energy and is considerably more efficient than the
second; but this second version is not only significantly cheaper in terms of the system,
but also in the company wherever it is more practical and economical, where the abortionist is working
Steam with a higher voltage is available or can be used in the absence of exhaust steam
got to. In all of these cases, the operation of the heat pump is practically free of charge.
As can already be seen from the above, the use of the heat pump not only has the advantage of greater heat economy, but an even greater advantage, which is that the mode of operation with a cold or moderately preheated inlet is self-evident results by using the heat pump only the temperature decrease from the boiling point of the wastewater, which is still appropriate and economical for the type of heat pump in question. The corresponding temperature under atmospheric pressure is around 70 ° for steam jet pumps and around 50 ° for mechanical pumps. The outlet temperature at which the wastewater leaves the heat pump is now used in a much smaller heat exchanger for moderate preheating of the inlet and thus achieves the advantages of the colder inlet described above, while at the same time reducing the motive steam requirement to half or less. The use of the heat pump is characterized not only as a simple replacement of a heat exchange through the wall, but also as a fundamentally different type of utilization of waste heat with technical effects that cannot be achieved with a simple heat exchange.
