Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Verschließen von Flaschen und sonstigen Behältern mit thermoplastisch verformbaren Kappen oder ähnlichen Verschlüssen Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Verschließen von Flaschen und sonstigen Behältern mit thermoplastisch verformbaren Kappen oder ähnlichen Verschlüssen sowie auf eine Vorrichtung zur Ausführung dieses Verfahrens. Es ist bereits bekannt, Behälter mit thermoplastisch verformbaren Kappen dadurch zu verschließen, daß derartige Kappen vorgeformt, vor dem Verschließen der Gefäße erwärmt und dann auf die Gefäße aufgebracht und anschließend gekühlt werden. Bisher wurden hierzu vorgeformte kalte Kappen verwendet, die anderweitig hergestellt und in kaltem Zustand der Verschließmaschine zugeführt wurden. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, das zweimalige Erwärmen der Kappen, nämlich einmal während der Fertigung und einmal während des Verschließvorgangs, zu vermeiden. Erfindungsgemäß wird daher vorgeschlagen, die Kappen in dem von der Herstellung noch warmen, weichen Zustand über die Flaschenöffnung zu stülpen, anzudrücken und dabei zu kühlen, so daß sie erhärten.
