Beim Anschliefsen eines solchen Gasbadeofens an den Schornstein machten sich bisher die Einflüsse des letzteren auf die Verbrennung zu stark geltend. Glocke c aufgefangen wird, welche in dafs Gefäfs b so weit eintaucht, dafs ein vorzeitiges Entweichen der Prefsluft verhindert wird. Aus der Glocke c wird die Prefsluft durch ein Rohr d zu der Gasleitung e geleitet und tritt im Gemisch mit dem Gase in den Bunsenbrenner^, der mit offener Flamme brennt. Die Einschaltung des Strahlapparates in die Wasserleitung kann an beliebiger Stelle erfolgen , am zweckmäfsigsten oben in oder an dem Badeofen.
