Vorzugsweise eine der Stirnwände ist als Ladetor ausgebildet. Die Eckpfosten 3 ragen oben über das Dach 5 und unten über den Boden 6 hinaus, und die überstehenden Enden sind als Eckbeschläge 7 ausgebildet. Die unteren Eckbeschläge weisen an der Stirnseite ein Loch 8 auf, das oval ist und mit seiner Längsachse in der Längsrichtung des Containers verläuft. Die oberen Eckbeschläge weisen an den Stirnseiten entsprechende Zapfen 9 auf, mit denen der jeweils untere Container in die Löcher der Eckbeschläge an der Unterseite des jeweils oberen Containers eindringen können.
