Das Einsetzen des Daumenteils erfordert dabei einen erheblichen fertigungstechnischen Aufwand. Erfindungsgemäß ist der zweite Zuschnitt jedoch einstückig zusammen mit dem Daumenteil ausgebildet. Dabei hat man festgestellt, daß dadurch, daß der den Handrücken bedeckende zweite Zuschnitt ohne Unterbrechung durch eine Naht in das Daumenteil übergeht, eine bessere, insbesondere engere Anlage des Sporthandschuhs an der Hand erreicht werden kann. In den Fig. 1 bis 3 ist ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Sporthandschuhs dargestellt, der die Eigenschaft hat, eng anzuliegen, wodurch er für Handball und andere Ballspiele besonders geeignet ist. Der Sporthandschuh besteht aus einem im wesentlichen die Handinnenfläche bedeckenden ersten Zuschnitt 1, der in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist, und einem im wesentlichen die Außenfläche bedeckenden zweiten Zuschnitt 2, der in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist. Der erste Zuschnitt 1 weist alle Innenflächen der Finger einer Hand auf. Zusätzlich sind die die Außenflächen des Zeigefingers und des kleinen Fingers bedeckenden Handschuhteile (3, 5), sowie der die dem Zeigefinger zugewandte Außenfläche des Daumens teilweise bedeckende Handschuhteil 7 einstückig mit dem ersten Zuschnitt 1 ausgebildet. Dieser erste Zuschnitt 1 besteht aus einer Meterware, die ein bielastisches Trägermaterial mit Maschenstruktur aufweist, das aus ca. 90% Baumwolle und im übrigen ermüdungsfreiem Elastomer besteht. Die beim fertigen Handschuh außenliegende Seite ist mit einer hochabriebfesten, dauerelastischen Naturkautschukkaschierung versehen, die einen hohen Dämpfungswert hat. Auch die Innenseite des Trägermaterials weist eine dauerelastische Naturlatexkaschierung auf, weiche vorzugsweise dünner ist als die Kaschierung auf der außenliegenden Seite.
