BESCHREIBUNGDESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a connecting element, in particular for load belts, comprising a belt loop housing and a load transmission element, which is arranged via a connecting element so as to be rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the connecting element and, in some cases, also pivotable about an axis directed transversely thereto and can be connected in a force-fitting manner.
·-.;'■ :. ':, :::&khgr;,·.~ .,From DE 32 35 300 03 an arrangement is known for connecting components such as hooks, eyes, shackles, chain links or the like as well as tensioning and/or control devices or lifting or lashing arrangements with belts with the interposition of a coupling member in which a connecting element provided with a connecting fork or eye is rotatably mounted. ·-.;'■ : . ':, :::&khgr;,·.~ .,
The invention is intended to consist in the connection element being designed as an exchangeable adapter which can be hooked into the coupling member and has a head and a neck adjoining thereto.
In order to be able to arrange this adapter with its relatively wide, flange-like head in the coupling link so that it can rotate freely and to be easily attached , the latter must have a comparatively flat and wide base section between its side walls. If the coupling link can be freely designed to have the dimensions required for this, no difficulties arise in this respect.
However, given the market or practical requirements for an extremely narrow belt threading housing, especially for securing heavy transport loads, an arrangement for connecting components according to the known design was no longer satisfactorily usable.
Because the housing required the use of relatively thick sheets as the starting material for the intended load when it was made from carbon steel, an increasing tendency for the formation of structural cracks was found during processing, especially with very small radii to bend edges, and preferably during the subsequent hardening.
The head of a vertebral element that could be pushed through a hole in the bottom of a housing could not be made wide enough to withstand the high breaking loads required, and occasionally it was torn through the hole, which was only just covered, ... and destroyed.
In order to overcome these difficulties, it was necessary to strive for an entirely modified and improved design of the connecting element.
Based on this, the invention is based on the task of specifying a connecting element, in particular for load belts, for a .... in relation to the belt width very narrow housing which enables a rotatable and in some cases also pivotable connection with a load transmission element while avoiding the aforementioned disadvantages and difficulties. Furthermore, the task of the invention was to equip the connecting element with an exchangeable coupling element of different design and to ensure particularly smooth rotation even under high loads.
The solution to the stated problem is achieved with a connecting element of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 with a design of the connecting element according to the features of claim 1.
Further embodiments are provided according to the features of the subclaims.

The two-part design of the connecting element according to the invention with a swivel link and a coupling link, which can be joined together or separated, makes it possible for the swivel link with an extremely narrow, elongated hammer-shaped head section to be inserted into the housing in a non-rotatable manner even in confined spaces of a super-narrow loop housing, whereby the housing base does not need to be flat for this purpose, but can be elliptical or slightly curved in cross-section, whereby the bending radii of the side walls of the housing emerging from the base part can then be comparatively large. As a result, the material of the housing is no longer overstretched at the usual weakening lines of the bending edges, which is why the previously required disproportionate safety allowance for the material is no longer necessary. Furthermore, the separability of the swivel link and coupling link enables, for the first time, a problem-free exchange of the coupling link for its version with a tab or fork head or with a bolt end, whereby the interaction of the swivel link and coupling link can be logistically determined in the manner of a modular system.
Figure 1 shows a connecting element, in particular for load belts, comprising a belt loop housing (1) and a load transmission element (2), in the exemplary embodiment a load hook. The belt loop housing (1) and load hook (2) are connected to one another in a load-transmitting manner via a connecting element (10), whereby the load hook (2) can be connected to the housing (1) so that it can rotate about the longitudinal axis (x-x) of the connecting element and pivot about the axis (y-y) positioned transversely thereto.
The connecting element (10) consists of a swivel element (14-) with a head (15), neck (16) and a terminal flange (17) that can be pushed through a hole (11) in the base part (3) of the housing (1). A coupling element (20) is arranged on the swivel element (14), which receives the neck (16) and flange (17) of the swivel element (14) in a blind hole (21) that opens towards the housing (1). For this purpose, an inner circumferential groove (22) is provided in the upper area of the hole (21), into which locking elements (30) can be inserted from the outside with play over the neck (16) and flange (17), whereby the coupling element (20) has at least one lower extension (23) that is designed to connect the load transmission element (2).
In the example in Figure 1, the extension (23) is a tab provided with a hole (24) and the load transfer element (2) is a load hook formed with a fork head (4), which are connected in an articulated manner to the axis (y-y) by means of a connecting bolt (5) inserted in this axis, forming a joint. Steel pins that can be inserted tangentially to the hole (21) or tangentially to the neck (16) of the swivel member (14) into holes (29) running through the coupling member (20) can be used as locking elements (30).
Advantageously, locking elements (30) can also be ball bearing balls that can be inserted through a lockable bore (31) that opens into the radial groove (22) of the coupling member (20) to form a ball bearing. The advantage of such a design as a ball bearing is known to the person skilled in the art and therefore requires no further explanation, since it is known that this leads to the load transmission element (2) still being easily rotatable relative to the swivel member (14) even under extreme load. Different designs of the coupling member (20) can be seen in section and in plan view from Figures 1a to 3c and 4a to 4c. It can be seen from this that the lower extension of a coupling member (20) can be designed either as a tab (23) with a bore (24) or as a fork head (25) with bores (24) or as a threaded bolt (26).
Figures 3a/4a and 3b/4b show designs of the coupling element (20) with transverse bores (29) arranged tangentially to the bore (21) for inserting locking pins that function as locking elements (30). Figures 3c/4c show an embodiment of the coupling element (20) in which ball bearing balls are provided as locking elements that can be inserted through a lockable bore (31) that opens radially into the semicircular channel of the groove (22) to form a ball bearing.
The swivel member (14) shown in Figures 1 and 2 is preferably made of high-strength material with a breaking strength of at least 125 daN/mm, preferably 34 GrMo 6. It is thermally tempered or hardened in the usual way. As can be seen in particular from Figure 1, as an advantage of the inventive design of the connection element, the base area (3) of the housing (1), seen in cross section, is elliptical or slightly curved and is designed with a relatively large bending radius corresponding to one to two times, preferably one and a half times, the wall thickness of the walls (35*36).
• ··
This completely and safely prevents structural cracks caused by overstretching of the housing material during the bending process of the very narrow base area (3) between the wall areas (35*36). Unalloyed steel types can therefore be used to manufacture the housing in a cost-effective and easy-to-process manner. As a result of the aforementioned shape with relatively large bending radii, the head (15) of the swivel member (14) can advantageously have the shape of a hammer, as can be seen from Figure 2. This reliably prevents the diameter of the bore (11) in the base part (3), which in cross-section is only slightly covered by the width of the head (15) , from tearing out in all given load conditions. As a result of this shape, the swivel member (14) is inserted non-rotatably in the base area of the housing (1) and results in a secure connection, preferably in the case of an extremely narrow belt loop housing (1).
Insofern erfüllt die Erfindung in optimaler Weise die eingangs gestellte Afgäbe.In this respect, the invention optimally fulfills the task posed at the beginning.
