besonderen Durchlichtbeleuchtungsapparatur
wird also baulich keine
wesentliche Vereinfachung erzielt.Auxiliary device for optical observation and recording devices with
Incident light illumination The invention relates to an auxiliary device for with incident light illumination
optical observation and recording devices working on the object. With these lies
the light source on the same side of the object as the observing eye or
the photosensitive layer receiving the image. Often it is required that besides
a light source for the light falling on the surface of the object
is available, this from the side of the object facing away from the eye
Illuminated around the structure or the contours of the object in transmitted light
to bring to representation. So have the known optical precision measuring devices with
microscopic illustration two separate lighting apparatus for the so-called
Incident and transmitted light illumination. The applicability of such
However, equipment is limited because when tilting the microscope, both lighting equipment
have to be swiveled. This is in relation to that of transmitted light illumination
used lighting apparatus often associated with structural difficulties, though
not at all impossible. There are also facilities, in particular pitch circle and scale readings
known, in which by arranging a plane mirror below the graduation carrier
the incident light is also used to illuminate the transmitted light
will. It is in the nature of a plane mirror that it adjusts very carefully
must be in order to deliver a perfect transmitted light illumination. One of those too
Mirrors must be swiveled when swiveling the microscope. Compared to a
special transmitted light equipment
so structurally it won't be
substantial simplification achieved.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are addressed by means of an auxiliary device
eliminated, which in the arrangement of a per se known, of a plurality of
Rear reflector elements, such as cube-corner mirrors, composite surface reflectors
behind the object. The arrangement takes place at such a distance that
the image of the reflector generated by the lens of the device not even remotely
that of the object coincides. For many purposes where there is an extreme exploitation
surface reflectors can also be used,
those in the manner of the well-known projection pearl wall from a large number of well-reflective
small spherical caps are composed.
With reflectors of the type mentioned, one gains a large degree of independence
on the respective direction of incidence of the light, as this is a high percentage
is reflected in the direction of incidence. So there is no need to use
the microscope or a similar optical imager together with the reflector
having to pan. It is useful to equalize the reflected
Light to remove the irregularities caused by the mosaic structure
of the reflector can be conditional, the exit surface one of a plurality
easily roughened reflector composed of cube-shaped mirrors. Such reflectors
are known to consist of a glass or synthetic glass plate, in which the light source
facing away from the rear side, the triple mirror mosaic is pressed in, while the light
and the exit surface is flat.
The size of the effective area of the reflector is expediently chosen so
that it is a multiple of the cross-section of the imaging beam,
so that even with greater pivoting of the optical device - so for example
a microscope - it is not necessary to move the reflector.
