Telekommunikationsendgeräte sowie auch Telekommunikationsanlagen werden heute in der Regel mit einer sog. Mini-Western-Anschlußbuchse ausgerüstet. Als Verbindungselement zur mit dem öffentlichen Netz verbundenen Telekommunikations-Anschlußdose dient eine Anschlußschnur mit einem Mini-Western-Stecker und dem jeweiligen z.B. landesspezifischen Anschlußstecker für die Telekommunikationsanschlußdose.Telecommunications terminals and telecommunications systems are now generally equipped with a so-called mini-Western connection socket.
