TRENN- UND FILTRIERVORRICHTUNG ZUR FEST/FLÜSSIGTRENNUNGSEPARATION AND FILTERING DEVICE FOR SOLID/LIQUID SEPARATION
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Bandfilter vom Flachbettyp. The invention relates to a flat bed type belt filter.
A large number of flat-bed belt filters are known, which work, for example, according to the principle of gravity filtration or with additional vacuum. The field of application of flat-bed belt filters includes applications with throughputs of up to around 500 liters/minute. By definition, the filter bed is flat and is limited on the underside by a filter belt that runs on an endless carrier belt. The filter belt is usually filter fleece that is pulled off a supply roll and fed to a waste container on the discharge side for disposal. A sludge box or similar is used to collect the discharged filter cake.
When operating conventional flat-bed belt filters, it is becoming increasingly disadvantageous that the filter fleece cannot be reused, but rather usually has to be treated as hazardous waste.
The invention is based on the object of creating a flat bed belt filter in which a high filter efficiency is achieved without filter aids.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a flat bed belt filter with the features of claim 1. Advantageous further developments of claim 1 are the subject of the subclaims.
Ein erfindungsgemäßes Flachbett-Bandfilter ist somit vom Schwerkraft-Typ. Das Filterband ist ein Endlosband. Des weiteren ist eine Bandführung vorgesehen.A flatbed belt filter according to the invention is therefore of the gravity type. The filter belt is an endless belt. A belt guide is also provided.
By choosing an endless belt as a filter belt, disposal problems are largely eliminated. Likewise, filter aids (e.g. paper fleece) do not have to be constantly purchased and inserted. An additional carrier belt is also no longer required. It is only necessary to ensure that the belt runs smoothly and straight. The belt guide is used for this. The filter belt is preferably a flexible, tensile-strength porous belt made of a corrosion-resistant material. This can be, for example, stainless steel, plastic or an alternative material.
The belt guide can advantageously be designed in such a way that a guide underneath the belt is provided between the deflection rollers as well as corresponding guide means on the underside of the belt. These measures are uncomplicated and can be implemented easily. There is no need for complex belt controls or the like, as is known in the field of belt filtering. For larger filter units, a guide above the belt and corresponding guide means can also be provided between the deflection rollers.
More specifically, it is advantageous to have a groove as a guide. There can also be one or more grooves in the deflection rollers. On the underside of the belt, projections such as guide bolts are attached.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the filter bed is laterally delimited by rigidly mounted side disks, which have a sliding surface for the belt on the underside. This enables a secure seal of the filter chamber, which at the same time involves few parts and is therefore cost-effective.
The side windows are preferably made of plastic. Alternatively, they can have a coating on the underside. The belt run is not affected by such materials. Rather, it runs smoothly with, as mentioned, good sealing properties.
If the top of the side panel is curved in such a way that the belt between the deflection rollers forms a filter trough, the filter performance can be effectively increased without the use of special devices. However, this does not mean that there is a need for carriers or the like to support the discharge from the filter trough.
The filtration process is further supported if the inlet of the solid/liquid mixture is arranged opposite the solids outlet. With such an arrangement, a maximum sedimentation distance and calming zone for the filter cake is provided.
Auf diese Weise ist eine gleichmäßige Ver-A preferred embodiment of a gravity belt filter according to the invention comprises a distributor device at the inlet, which extends over essentially the entire belt width. In this way, a uniform distribution
teilung der Fest/Flüssig-Mischung über die Filterbreite sichergestellt, so daß auch die Filtrierbedingungen im wesentlichen gleich sind.distribution of the solid/liquid mixture across the filter width is ensured, so that the filtration conditions are essentially the same.
A cleaning device is advantageously provided, which flows fluid through the filter belt from the clean side to the dirty side. A collecting device for solids and/or draining, dirty cleaning fluid is provided underneath. Compressed air can be used as a fluid for certain applications. Cleaning the endless belt prevents clogging.
It is also preferable to return overflowing and possible leakage fluid from the filter chamber to the collection device. Even if a leak does occur, the leakage fluid is recovered in this way and can be reintroduced into the filter mixture. A collection device for collecting the leakage and cleaning fluid at the side is expediently provided.
In der Zeichnung zeigen:The invention is advantageously further described using a preferred embodiment and the drawing. In the drawing:

Fig. 2 eine schematische Ansicht in Richtung des Einlaufs gemäß Pfeilen A-A in Fig. 1.Fig. 2 is a schematic view in the direction of the inlet according to arrows A-A in Fig. 1.
A flatbed belt filter according to the invention comprises two deflection rollers 2, 4 on which an endless filter belt 6 rotates. In the embodiment shown, the endless belt 6 is a flexible, tensile, corrosion-resistant mesh or
A guide (8) is provided for the belt 6, which is located between the deflection rollers below the belt and in the form of a groove in the deflection rollers. Corresponding guide bolts are attached to the underside of the belt. The upper run of the filter belt is lowered like a trough between the deflection rollers 2, 4, so that a flat filter trough 12 is formed. This gives the filtering chamber 14 a greater depth and the filter efficiency is increased. The filtering chamber, i.e. the filter bed, is delimited at the sides by rigidly mounted side disks 16, 18. These have a sliding surface on the underside along which the belt moves in a sealing manner.
Eine in der Wanne 28 angeordnete Pumpe 34 fördert dort befindliche Reinigungsflüssigkeit über eine Leitung 36 in den Filtrierraum 14.Below the upper run of the filter belt 6 there is a guide plate or a collecting device 20 for collecting and removing the filtrate. The drainage and forwarding of the filtrate are indicated by arrows 22, 24. A side cover 26 serves as a splash guard and a tray 28 is provided for cleaning fluid. The tray 28 collects dirty cleaning fluid from the filter belt cleaning as well as any dirty fluid overflowing from the filter chamber and/or leakage fluid from the filter chamber. It can also collect any filtrate overflowing from the collecting device 20. This is indicated by arrows 30, 32, 33. A pump 34 arranged in the tray 28 conveys cleaning fluid located there via a line 36 into the filter chamber 14.
Above the lower run of the filter belt 6 there is a cleaning device 38 in the form of several cleaning nozzles 40, which spray the filter belt 6 with fluid from the inside to the outside, whereby solids and/or draining, dirty cleaning liquid are introduced into the tub 28. In this way, the belt is rinsed free of any solid particles that are still adhering to it.
A feed pipe 44 is provided for the supply 42 of the solid/liquid mixture, which opens into a distributor device 46 that extends essentially over the entire width of the filter bed. The distributor device 46 is box-shaped and is arranged in the direction of the belt travel, i.e. inclined downwards. The outlet of the solid/liquid mixture is indicated by arrows 48. In the lower peripheral area of the outlet-side circulating roller 4, a scraper 50 is shown, which frees the belt 6 from filter cake on the dirty side.
The invention has been described and illustrated above using a preferred embodiment and selected features. Of course, it is not limited to this illustration and the numerical values given. Rather, all features can be used alone or in any combination, even independently of their summary in the claims.
