Die Neuerung betrifft einen Gurthalter für Ranzen, Taschen, Rucksäcke od. dgl., bestehend aus einem am zu tragenden Gegenstand befestigten Halteteil und einem an diesem zu verrastenden, am Gurtende befestigten Verrastungsteil. Der Gurthalter besteht aus einem am zu tragenden Gegenstand G befestigten Halteteil und einem an diesem zu verrastenden, am Gurtende GE befestigten Verrastungsteil, wobei gemäß Ausführungsbeispiel das Halteteil aus einem flachen Schieber 1 mit zwei mittigen Befestigungsöffnungen 2 gebildet ist, und die beiden Seitenränder 3 des Schiebers 1 zur Zugbelastungsseite Z hin zueinander konvergierend ausgebildet sind.
