Die Erfindung bezweckt die Schaffung einer verbesserten Anzeigevorrichtung, mittelst deren man bei Magazingewehren die Anzahl der jeweils noch im Magazin enthaltenen Patronen auf den ersten Blick erkennt, ohne erst die betreffende Zahl aus einer sichtbaren Zahlenreihe heraussuchen zu müssen.The invention aims to provide an improved display device, by means of which for magazine rifles, the number of cartridges still contained in the magazine recognizes at first glance, without first selecting the relevant number from a visible row of numbers to have to seek out.

Dieser verbesserte Patronenanzeiger besteht, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, aus einem etwa halbkreisförmigen Zifferblatt J, welches nach der Zeichnung an der rechtsseitigen Wandung des Magazins M drehbar gelagert ist. Mit einem in dem Zifferblatt vorgesehenen Schlitz P tritt ein Zapfen 7² des Heberarmes 230 in Eingriff, so dais die Bewegungen dieses Armes, wie sie durch die Patronen im Magazin hervorgerufen werden, dahin wirken, das Zifferblatt um seinen Lagerpunkt /³ zu drehen. Das Zifferblatt liegt dicht an der Wandung des Magazins, und die daran vorgesehenen Ziffern sind so angeordnet, dafs sie durch eine in der Seitenwandung befindliche Öeffnung J⁴ sichtbar sind, wenn die entsprechende Anzahl Patronen sich im Magazin befindet. Der grofse Vortheil dieser Anzeigevorrichtung besteht darin, dafs das Auge des Beobachters nicht durch den Anblick der sämmtlichen Ziffern und Gradtheilungen verwirrt wird, wie dies bei den bisher gebräuchlichen Anordnungen zumeist deshalb der Fall ist, weil der Schütze mit dem Auge die ganze Ziffernreihe oder Gradtheilung zu übersehen hat, bis er an die betreffende Ziffer gelangt, auf welche ein von den Patronen beherrschter Zeiger gerichtet ist. Bei der beschriebenen neuen Anordnung ist das Auge des Schützen stets nur auf einen und denselben Punkt, und zwar auf die Öeffnung /* gerichtet, an welcher einzig und allein die eine richtige Ziffer erscheint, wodurch dem Auge des Schützen sofort ein "richtiger Eindruck geboten wird, ohne dafs irgend welcher Zweifel oder Fehler möglich ist, wie solche bisher wohl eintreten konnten. Ein weiterer wichtiger Vortheil dieser Anordnung besteht darin, dafs die Theile sämmtlich in geschützter Anordnung innerhalb des Rahmenwerkes und der Magazinwandungen des Gewehres untergebracht sind, und dafs keine nach aufsen hervorstehenden Hebel oder Zeiger mit dem Patronenheber verbunden sind, wodurch etwa dessen Wirkung gestört oder unterbrochen werden könnte, dadurch, dafs diese Theile durch die Berührung mit äufseren Körpern (Schmutz, Zweige oder Grashalme) verbogen oder festgeklemmt werden.As can be seen from the drawing, this improved cartridge indicator consists of an approximately semicircular dial J which, according to the drawing, is rotatably mounted on the wall of the magazine M on the right-hand side.
