Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein Sicherheitsthürverschlufs für Eisenbahnwagen, Tramways, Omnibusse etc., welcher jedes zufällige Oeffnen der Thüren unmöglich macht.The subject of the present invention is a security door lock for railroad cars, Tramways, omnibuses, etc., which make any accidental opening of the doors impossible power.

Der neue Verschlufs besteht im wesentlichen aus einer in eine Aussparung des Thürpfostens bezw. der Wagenwand eingelassenen horizontal liegenden Oese α und aus einem nach ' unten gerichteten, in diese eingreifenden Hakend, dessen horizontaler Theil c in ein vierkantiges Gleitstück d eingesetzt ist, welches in einem senkrechten Schlitz e der Thür auf- und abbewegt werden kann, wobei dasselbe den Haken b'c natürlich mitnimmt. An der Aufsenseite der Thür ist das Gleitstück d mit einem Griff f versehen und trägt dasselbe ferner an der äufseren, wie an der inneren Seite der Thür Platten g g\ welche dazu dienen, den Schlitz e, welcher an seinem oberen Ende kreisförmig erweitert ist, zu verdecken. Die Wirkungsweise des neuen Verschlusses ist folgende: The new closure consists essentially of a BEZW in a recess in the door post. Der Griff f des Verschlusses wird von unten nach oben geschoben, bis das Gleitstück d in die am oberen Ende des senkrechten Schlitzes e befindliche kreisförmige Erweiterung tritt. Bis hierher war eine Drehung des Griffes und des mit demselben verbundenen Gleitstückes nicht möglich, da letzteres in dem Schlitz e zwangläufig geführt wird. In besagter Erweiterung: angelangt, wird also jetzt das Gleitstück d mittelst des Griffes f gedreht. Der Haken b c trat bereits beim Anheben des Griffes aus der Oese α heraus, doch konnte, da der Haken b c sich noch in der Aussparung des Thürpfostens bewegte, die Thür noch nicht geöffnet werden. Beim Drehen des Griffes bewegt sich nun aber auch der mit dem Gleitstück d verbundene Haken in der Pfeilrichtung (Fig. 2), wodurch derselbe aus erwähnter Aussparung heraustritt und die Thür geöffnet werden kann. Die Art und Weise, in welcher die Thür geschlossen wird, ergiebt sich aus Vorstehendem von selbst.The handle f of the closure is pushed upwards from below until the sliding piece d enters the circular extension located at the upper end of the vertical slot e.
