Description
Process for the production of plant-physiologically valuable xerogels It has been found that plant-physiologically valuable xerogels of increased Effectiveness on plant growth gains when using alkali silicates, sea silt or mixtures of both with the addition of metals in finely divided form, in particular in a grain size of less than 0.02 mm in diameter, optionally with mixing with peat, peat soils or silicates containing alumina, by adding metal salts falls.
Beispiele i. The manufacturing processes are based on the following exemplary embodiments which are capable of many modifications without leaving the scope of the invention to fall. Examples i. To a mixture of 6o parts by weight of potassium water glass and 40 parts by weight of soda waterglass are added with stirring: 10 parts by weight Magnesium carbonate suspended in 10 parts by weight of water and 1 part by weight Magnesium powder.
2. Zu einem Gemisch von 4o Gewichtsteilen Natronwasserglas und 6o Gewichtsteilen Kaliwasserglas werden unter Rühren zugesetzt: 5 Gewichtsteile Magnesiumcarbonat, 0,5 Gewichtsteile Magnesiumpulver, o,2 Gewichtsteile Zinkcarbonat, o,o2 Gewichtsteile Zinkpulver. The mixture is precipitated in aqueous solution with the following metal salts: 10 parts by weight of calcium sulfate, 3 parts by weight of manganese sulfate, 1 part by weight of zinc sulfate. If necessary, excess water is removed in a manner known per se. 2. To a mixture of 40 parts by weight of soda waterglass and 60 parts by weight of potassium waterglass are added with stirring: 5 parts by weight of magnesium carbonate, 0.5 part by weight Magnesium powder, 0.2 parts by weight zinc carbonate, 0.2 parts by weight zinc powder.
