Typical housing designs only have a flap that can be opened with a key or combination lock.

The technology used in banks, open banking in conjunction with time-locked drawer cabinets, takes up space, is very expensive and cannot be implemented in the normal checkout area (retail, department store).

PROBLEM

Cash desk areas in normal business premises are not adequately secured against violent access. Over the course of the day, large sums of money and checks accumulate in the cash registers and can only be removed by skimming them into office safes.

The security of banknotes, checks or receipts is no longer guaranteed at the moment of the robbery, as the forced surrender of the key or the extortion of the number combination allows immediate access to the contents.

SOLUTION

The installation of a cash register safe in the cash register area, which has a combined lock and time lock system.

BENEFITS ACHIEVED

The money can be secured directly in the cash register area without risky transport.

The permanent opening in the upper part of the housing allows excess cash, checks and important receipts to be secured without opening the cash safe.

An attempt to force the opening using a key will be unsuccessful, as this will only activate the time lock. The flap cannot be opened before a previously entered time period has elapsed.

Protection claim 2 :

In the two figures, the cash safe can be seen from the front, looking at one side and the upper casing.

In Fig. I you can see the slot-shaped permanent opening (3) and the locking cylinder (4) in the open front flap (1).

The front panel holder (6) is located inside the housing.

In Fig. II, the flap (1) is open and the combined lock and time lock system (2) is installed on the back. Inside the cash safe there is a collecting container (5) for collecting the notes, checks, etc. inserted through the permanent opening (3).
