Ein derartiger Wäschetrockner ist z.B. durch das DE-GM 84 37 357 bekannt geworden. Dazu ist es mit einem umlaufenden Kragen versehen, mit dem es sich im eingebauten Zustand auf dem ringförmigen Mantel der Beschickungsöffnung abstützt. An beiden Seiten besitzt der Kragen Fingerlöcher zum Entnehmen des Flusenfilters aus der Einbaulage. Der Kragen enthält eine rechteckige und mantelförmig gebogene Lufteintrittsöffnung, die mit mindestens einem weiteren Sieb versehen ist, welches eine geringfügig größere Maschenweite aufweist als das genannte engmaschige Sieb des Flusenfilters. Durch dieses zusätzliche Sieb wird bereits ein wesentlicher Teil der Flusen aufgehalten, so daß das engmaschige Siebgewebe nur noch mit einem Teil der Flusen beaufschlagt und nicht durch einen zu großen Flusenanfall überfordert wird. Zum Entfernen der Flusen aus dem engmaschigen Sieb muß jedoch das gesamte Sieb aus dem Abluftkanal entfernt werden. Im herausgenommenen Zustand wird sodann das Flusensieb auseinander geklappt und von den feinen Flusen befreit.Such a tumble dryer is known, for example, from DE-GM 84 37 357. Der Wäschetrockner gemäß Fig. 1 und 3 besitzt ein Gehäuse 10 mit einer Wäschetrommel 11 und einer frontseitigen Tür 12, die mit einem Wäscheabweiser 13 versehen ist, der im Betriebszustand in eine Beschickungsöffnung 14 der Wäschetrommel 11 ragt. Unterhalb der Wäschetrommel 11 ist ein Gebläse 15 vorgesehen, durch welches Prozeßluft 16 über eine Heizung 17 in die Wäschetrommel 11 gefördert wird. Die feuchtigkeitsbeladene Prozeßluft 16 verläßt die Trommel an der Frontseite über den Wäscheabweiser 13 und tritt in einen Abluftkanal 18 ein. Dieser Abluftkanal ist mit einem fest eingebauten, feinmaschigen Flusensieb 19 versehen, das im Querschnitt (siehe Fig. 4) wannenförmig ausgebildet ist.
