The invention relates to that type of Bunsen burner in which
one or more vertical mixing tubes provided with air inlet openings
a manifold are pushed on. Compared to Bunsen burners of other known types,
in which the mixing tube is set to a relatively high level sitting in the distributor tube
The nozzle piece is screwed on, the Bunsen burner has pushed onto the distributor pipe,
to a certain extent, threaded mixing tubes have considerable advantages. Manufacturing is essential
easier and cheaper. In particular, the overall height is much lower because of the design
with the mixing tube pushed on, the gas supply nozzle from the distributor tube does not or
only a little protrudes.
For Bunsen burners with a mixing tube screwed onto the nozzle piece
it is known to place the mixing pipe at the level of the nozzle piece, i.e. above the distributor pipe,
Milled on both sides to create air access openings. With bunsen burners
with the mixing tube pushed on, however, there has so far only been one perforated ring for supplying air
intended. The diameter of the holes is naturally due to the dimensions
the mixing tube is limited, so that the air supply is limited and often inadequate
is. In addition, the attachment of such a perforated ring is unfavorable in terms of production.
However, the perforated ring arrangement had to be provided for such Bunsen burners,
because a milled cut on both sides above the distributor pipe, such as
it was known in Bunsen burners of other types, here because of the low nozzle height
is not applicable because it would be too high.
The invention consists in that the pushed onto the manifold
Mixing pipe on both sides parallel to the distributor pipe, air inlet openings created by milling
has the shape of triangles standing on the tip, the center of which is roughly in
Height of the gas supply nozzle of the manifold.
By choosing a triangular basic shape for the millings,
it succeeds namely, the mixing pipe partly at the level of the distributor pipe passed through
to be milled and in this way to relocate the air inlet openings so deep that
their center is at the level of the nozzle.
The invention is based on an embodiment that is shown in
Fig. I and 2 is shown, explained in more detail. On a horizontal manifold
i a Bunsen burner mixing tubes 2 are pushed, of which simplicity
for the sake of only one is shown. The mixing pipe: 2 is through a the distribution pipe
i fastened penetrating screw 3, which at the same time has a gas supply nozzle 4.
Parallel to the distributor pipe i, the mixing pipe 2 is milled on both sides, so that large
Air inlet openings 5, 5 'are created with a triangular basic shape. The upper part
des: Mixing tube 2 is only supported by relatively narrow webs 6, 6 '.
The center of the air inlet openings 5, 5 'is approximately at the level of the nozzle 4, so that
this can quickly suck in the first air from below at an angle. It can be seen that
the manifold does not prevent the air inlets 5, 5 'so deep
to attach. A perforated wreath, as it is in known Bunsen burners of the present
Art is used, however, can only be arranged above the nozzle 4, wherein
the suction conditions are much less favorable.
