Description

Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Tonerde Gemäß dem Verfahren des Hauptpatents werden A12 03-haltige Ausgangsstoffe, z. B. Tone oder Bauxite, unter Beimischung von Ca O-haltigen Zuschlägen im Schachtofen niedergeschmolzen, wobei sich eine schmelzflüssige Schlacke bildet, das Fee 03, das in den Ausgangsstoffen enthalten ist oder diesen gegebenenfalls zugesetzt wird, zu Fe 0 reduziert und letzteres mit der Kieselsäure zu a Fe O - S' 02 zusammentritt. Dieses Verfahren wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch verbessert, daß die Ca 0-haltigen Zuschläge, welche den A1203 haltigen Ausgangsstoffen beigemischt werden, in feinkörniger Form, z. B. als Braunkohlenbrikettaschen, Braunkohlenaschen des rheinischen Braunkohlenreviers oder auch sonstigen kalkhaltigen Feuerungsaschen verwendet werden, und daß dieses Gemisch brikettiert in den Schachtofen eingebracht wird. Hierbei nutzt man das Bindevermögen der Tone oder Bauxite aus. Die genannten Brikett- oder Braunkohlenaschen sind meist feinkörnig und enthal ten z.
