The invention relates to an arrangement for avoiding false tripping
of current- and voltage-dependent selective relays in star-delta transformers
connected networks, in which blocking relays trigger the selective relays
in one network, in the event of two-pole short circuits in the other network.
The present invention is an improvement on this arrangement.
Die Anregeelemente A
A anspricht.
According to the invention, a release delay can take the place of a blocking. In particular, the tripping delay is of the correct magnitude when the distance relay is again supplied with a voltage such that the measurement of the incorrect distance is carried out with an accurate impedance. This concept of the invention will be explained using a practical example. The figure shows a known circuit for distance relays, which is improved by an additional relay U according to the inventive concept. AR, AS and AT are the overcurrent excitation elements of the distance relays, DR, DS andDT are the distance release elements with their current and voltage coils. The excitation elements A control changeover contacts, one upper each for the voltage circuit of the spacer elements D and one lower each for the auxiliary relay U. In the conventional circuit without blocking in the case of two-pole short circuits in the other network, unwanted relay trips have occurred. If, in the case of current distribution i: -2: i, only the overcurrent element of the distance relay that carries twice the current: 2 responds, then the voltage circuit is only connected to voltage on one pole because there is no unbalanced current. The sum of the three phase currents becomes zero (i + -a -f- i = o), and the associated relay must trigger with the basic time, since at zero voltage it also measures the zero error distance. In the event of a short circuit in the associated network, the function of this relay circuit is faultless. According to the invention, the changeover relay U of the figure now acts as a blocking relay, as the contacts of the auxiliary elements in the changeover relay ensure that when only one distance relay responds, this is necessarily bipolar. The lower contacts, 5 and 6 of the excitation elements A control the auxiliary relays 7, $, 9 in the switchover relay U, the contacts of which only apply voltage to the auxiliary relay io when only one overcurrent element A responds. The arrangement and connection of the contacts in the switching relay U are made so that the circuit for actuating the relay io is closed by one relay (for example S) and is interrupted again when another (for example 7 or 7 and 9 simultaneously) responds. The contact io is also closed if there is an unbalance current, which is indicated by the additional winding. A corresponding distance relay is therefore always supplied with voltage, so that false tripping with base time is made impossible.
