Auf der Vorderseite außen weist hier die wiederverwendbare Windel 10 im Bereich des Bundes ein Klettband 12 auf, während von der Rückseite zwei Klettlaschen 14 nach außen vorstehen, mit deren Hilfe die Windel nach Umschlagen der Klettlaschen 14 auf das Klettband 12 befestigt werden kann. Dabei ist auf übliche Weise in gewissem Rahmen eine Größenanpassung möglich. Versuchsreihen haben ergeben, daß die wiederverwendbare Windel 10 mindestens 300 mal gewaschen werden kann. Mit der Innenschicht ist eine saugfähiger Kern 22 (dessen Aufbau unten anhand von Fig. 2 näher erläutert wird) durch zwei zueinander parallele Längsnähte 30 verbunden.
