Bekannterweise werden deshalb zusätzlich Lüfter verwendet, die die entstehende Verlustwärme an die Außenluft weitergeben. Derartige Einrichtungen sind zwar einfach aufgebaut, besitzen aber den Nachteil, daß die Bauelemente, besonders bei bestimmten Betriebsbedingungen, leicht verschmutzen können. Ist ein höherer Schutzgrad erforderlich, wird die Gefäßinnenluft durch Wärmetauscher oder durch Kühlaggregate gekühlt.
