Da die Schnappverbindungen in den Mantelflächen durch eingelassene Ausstülpungen gebildet wird, besteht nach Einlegen des Haares auch keine Gefahr, daß sich die Schnappverbindungen lösen. Die Schutzhülle aus festem Material, worauf später noch eingegangen wird, bietet auch einen hinreichenden Halt, um schwerpastöse oder erdige Haarbehandlungsmittel sicher aufzunehmen, ohne daß ein Herabfallen der Schutzhülle befürchtet werden muß. Die Laschen an gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Schutzhülle am Ober- und am Unterteil ermöglichen auch ein leichtes Auseinanderziehen der genannten Teile unter Entarretierung der Schnappverbindungen. Das Unterteil 11 besitzt an der vorderen Längskante, also auf einer gegenüberliegenden Seite wie das Oberteil 13 ebenfalls eine Lasche 20.
