Übliche Verpackungsvliese bzw Folien sind in der Mehrzahl aus synthetischen Materialien hergestellt, die entweder gar nicht oder nur sehr langsam biologisch abgebaut werden können. Bei der Verwendung dieser Verpackungsvliese bzw Folien tritt zudem, bedingt durch Temperaturschwankungen häufig Kondensationsfeuchtigkeit auf, die Wasserflecken auf hochwertigen Oberflächen (z.B. Mit der Erfindung wird im Anwendungsfall erreicht, daß Probleme der Müllverbrennung entfallen und die ohnehin knappen Deponieplätze nicht beansprucht werden. Gleichzeitig werden natürliche Resourcen (Erdöl) geschont, da die o.g. Erfindung in der Lage ist, synthetische Verpackungsmaterialien in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungsbereichen zu ersetzen. Das in Anspruch 1 beschriebene Verpackungsvlies zeigte in Testversuchen unter natürlichen Bedingungen eine vollständige Verrottung zu Kompost innerhalb einer Vegetationsperiode. Es kann z.B. als Beimischung in herkömmlichen Blumenerden wieder in den natürlichen Kreislauf integriert werden. Das besondere an der Erfindung ist, daß durch die Auswahl der genannten Pflanzenfasern eine extrem schnelle Verrottung des Verpackungsvlieses erfolgt. Jute und Flachs werden unter natürlichen Bedingungen sehr schnell von Bakterien und Pilzen besiedelt, die den Verrottungsprozess einleiten. Dadurch wird auch die an sich "langlebigere" Baumwolle innerhalb einer Vegetationsperiode kompostiert.The invention means that problems of waste incineration are eliminated and the already scarce landfill space is not used. Der ausgezeichnete hydrophile Charakter der verwendeten Materialien zeichnet das Verpackungsvlies bei Anwendung von Gegenständen aus, wo Kondensationspunkte und die damit auftretende Feuchtigkeit vermieden werden sollen. Die Pflanzenfasern werden in den nachfolgend aufgeführten Kombinationen gemeinsam zu einem Vlies vernadelt: Baumwolle/Jute/Flachs, Baumwolle/Jute, Baumwolle/Flachs und Jute/Flachs (Fig.l.). Dadurch entsteht ein Verpackungsvlies, welches eine ausreichende Festigkeit aufweist und zudem gute Polstereigenschaften besitzt. Durch ein unterschiedliches Mischungsverhältnis der obengenannten Fasern kann ein Verpackungsmaterial zur Anwendung kommen, das zum Einen den Schutz hochwertiger Oberflächen (z.B. Möbel) garantiert und zum Anderen durch seinen gleichzeitig stabilen Charakter relativ reißfest ist und Stöße beim Transport von Gegenständen (z.B. Glas, Elektrogeräte, Maschinenteile) abdämpft. Dabei sorgt anteilig die Baumwollwatte für für einen ausreichenden Polsterschutz und Jute und/oder Flachs für eine ausreichende mechanische Festigkeit.The excellent hydrophilic character of the materials used distinguishes the packaging fleece when used for objects where condensation points and the associated moisture should be avoided.
