Die Neuerung befaßt sich mit einem Abscheider für mit Schwimmstoffen, insbesondere ölen und Fetten, verunreinigte Abwasser des Typs, bei dem ein ohne Freispiegel arbeitendes Abscheidegehäuse im wesentlichen horizontal durchströmt wird. Die Schwimmstoffe sammeln sich an der höchsten Stelle des Deckels des Abscheidegehäuses und werden in kurzen Zeitabständen durch öffnen des dort angesetzten Absperrorgans in eine Ableitung und einen Sammelcontainer ausgetragen.The innovation concerns a separator for waste water contaminated with floating substances, especially oils and fats, of the type in which the flow is essentially horizontal through a separator housing that operates without a free surface. Vorteilhafterweise wird hinter dem Absperrorgan an der höchsten Stelle der Schwimmstoffableitung eine Entlüftungsleitung abgezweigt.
