Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schüssel mit einem kugelkalottenförmigen Schüsselteil und einem angeformten Flansch oder Rand. Die bekannten Schüsseln dieser Art bestehen aus Metall. Das kugelkalottenförmige Schüs seiteil ist durch Tiefziehen geformt. Der Rand oder Flansch ist angeformt. Ähnlich aufgebaut sind auch Siebe, die im Haushalt Verwendung finden. Auch aufwendige Formen und Pressen sind zur Formgebung des Schüsselteils mit den angeformten Bauteilen nicht erforderlich. Das gilt auch für die Flanschabdeckung, die auch als Spritzgußteil ausgeführt und unschwer farbig gestaltet werden kann, indem der thermoplastische Kunststoff, aus dem die Flanschabdeckung besteht, entsprechende Farbstoffbeimengungen erhält. Der Deckel kann ein dem Formschluß-Übergangsteilstück komplementäres Übergangsteilstück aufweisen und damit formschlüssig auf das Formschluß-Übergangsteilstück des Schüsselteils aufsetzbar sein. Jedenfalls ist die Anordnung so getroffen, daß die Flanschabdeckungen von Schüsselteil und Deckelteil kontaktieren. Nach bevorzugter Ausführungsform der Erfindung besteht der Deckel aus den gleichen Werkstoffen wie die Schüssel. Es kann sich bei dem Deckel ebenfalls um eine Schüssel handeln. Hat der Deckel einen kleineren Durchmesser als das Schüsselteil, so können das Schüsselteil und der Deckel auch ineinandergesetzt werden. Die in den Figuren dargestellte Schüssel besteht aus einem kugelkalottenförmigen Schüsselteil 1 aus einem glasartig klaren Kunststoff, einem an das Schüsselteil 1 angeformten Formschluß-Übergangsteilstück 2 mit im wesentlichen umgekehrt U-förmigem Querschnitt und einem davon abgebogenen umlaufenden Flansch 3.
